A wonderful holiday location and superb villa

We have been staying in this area for the past 10 years and this was by far the best accomodation we have stayed at. Owners with whom we booked with and Paul & Pam who met and facilitated our stay could do no more. The pictures do not do this Villa justice the outdoor space is second to none in such a tranquil and beautiful setting. It comes highly recommended by our whole party which included adults of all ages and 3 kids.

Excellent!

We had a great week at Vila Nova De Cacela. The surroundings were still and nice. I found some beautiful roads to go for my morning running. The villa was very well equiped and we didnt miss a thing!. The pool, the patio and the garden was lovely. The contact with the owners worked very well. We strongly recommend this villa and we would love to come back some day!

excellent villa

Phil was great to deal with very easy and great information. The Villa was absolutely stunning lovely quite rural location yet close enough to Beaches supermarkets and resturants. furnished and equiped to a very high standard. I took my whole family and we all had excellent week and enjoyed staying at the villa very much, I have already recomended it to 2 of my friends and would definatley stay there again. Highly recomended 5 stars.

Can't wait to return to Sanat Rita!

Thanks for sending us the link for leaving feedback. Just like to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Casa da Oliveira. Sadly the time passed too quickly because we all did not want to leave such a magnificent villa. The house had everything we could have wanted and was equipped to a high standard. The views from the terraces are amazing and we loved the little friendly café bar in the village. We were spoilt for choice with restaurants, all within easy reach of the villa – we especially liked the fish restaurant you recommended at Fabrica. We can’t wait to return and would not hesitate in recommending the house to other people.

a beautiful villa

We had a fabulous time in this lovely villa. The booking process was easy, the owners friendly. We were welcomed by Pam and Paul at the villa who were on hand if needed. As previous reviewers have mentioned this villa is very well equipped and very comfortably housed the nine of us for two weeks. The garden and pool were lovely and we had a lot of fun. We enjoyed our walks down to Fabrica for coffee and cake. Some days,depending on the tide, we would either walk through shallow water to the beach on the other side or catch the little boat over. Pam and Paul recommended a local taxi service and they were brilliant, so much so that we never did book a hire car as we thought we might have done. Let's face it, with such a beautiful villa, pool and garden there were many days when we just stayed at 'home' or walked around the local area.

our marvellous family holiday at casa Oliveira

The Villa is modern ,spacious, clean, well equipped (kitchen especially) and situated in a tranquil part of the Algarve where the roads are generally quiet with access to many small towns and villages within a 15 kilometre range . Thanks to Andrew and Else for their warm welcome and informative information on the villa . We loved the old part of Santa Rita especially our several visits to the " pub"and shop run by the old lady who went to school across the road over 80 years ago . Several supermarkets in nearby Cabanas and Nova Cacela Vela were easily accessed . We found the very friendly Jolly SaiIor restaurant in nearby Cabanas near the Quinta Velha apartment site where meals , especially steak on the stone and prawn curry were delicious . Also we were made welcome to use pool and snack bar at Eurotel Hotel on the A22 road roundabout on the outskirts of Tavira. Two of the nicest beaches were Praia Verde and Barril with access through the lagoon by mini train ( much like the Everglades in Florida on a minor scale ). Don't miss the Pego de Inferno waterfall in the hills a few miles from Santa Rita where children can play and swim below the falls - quite a walk from the car park though ! All in all a marvellous villa and area we would highly recommend .

Fabulous property!

Our first family holiday for many years, this time with 2 babies as well, so we needed a large property. This is a stunning villa, in a beautiful quaint Portuguese village where you feel as though you are living as part of the country (and not in a tourist centred area) and yet easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches ever. Praia Verde is amazing, as is the infinity pool there! The villa is equipped to a very high standard, and spotlessly clean on arrival. Beds are very comfortable with en suite to 4 out of 5 bedrooms and a beautiful pool and garden. We will definitely return, with our very large family again!! Just a personal note from a disabled person - I had been looking for a disabled friendly villa - and they are few and far between - but the owner, Phil, was very honest about this house and gave detailed information. Whilst not 'registered' for disabled use, it is absolutely perfect for anyone with limited mobility. I use a mobility scooter and was able to access the entire ground floor and the gardens with ease. The ground floor shower room is not suitable for a wheelchair, but it is ideal for anyone who cannot do stairs/steps and is very safe. I would highly recommend this property for anyone elderly or infirm - the only thing preventing them advertising as a 'disabled friendly' home is the lack of wet room - so hopefully other disabled persons will read my review and book this amazing place!!

Perfekter Urlaub in einem perfekten Haus

Wir haben unsere Herbstferien mit einer befreundeten Familie ( 9 Personen) in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet,sehr sauber,auch die Austattung lässt keine Wünsche offen.Besonders gefallen hat uns die Außendusche ( mit warmem Wasser auf der großen Dachterrasse ). Duschen mit Meerblick - nach unserer morgendlichen Joggingrunde ein absolutes Highlight ! Andrew und Elise haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wertvolle Tips ( Einkaufen, essen ) gegeben- vielen Dank dafür. Unsere Lieblingsrestaurants waren die beiden Strandrestaurant in Manta Rota mit überraschend guter Küche . Sevilla ist nicht weit und unbedingt einen Tagesausflug wert. Wir kommen wieder !

eine TOP Empfehlung - sensationell

Das Haus hält in allem was es verspricht. Großzügige, geschmackvoll möblierte Schlafzimmer; vier davon mit eigenem Bad - geräumiges Wohnzimmer und Küche - eine riesige Dachterasse auf der man nach der morgendlichen Laufrunde eine warme !! Außendusche mit phantastischer Aussicht genießen kann. Die Küche ist auf dem neuesten Stand und läßt für Selbstkocher keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt genügend Liegen am Pool und eine schöne Terassenmöblierung mit Platz für gut 10 Personen - durch die vielen Zimmer ideal auch für mehrere Paare geeignet bzw. 2 Familien Die Verwalter haben uns sehr nett empfangen und standen mit Rat und Tat und hervorragenden Restaurantstips zur Seite. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeit im Oktober waren am Besten im nur 5 km entfernten Tavira !! Das Haus liegt ruhig an einer kaum befahrenen Nebenstraße, zwischen 2 privat genutzten Häusern - die Strände sind allesamt höchstens 10 Fahrminuten entfernt und sehr abwechslungsreich ( Praia Verde, Praia Monta Rota oder auch Praia Cabana den man mit einem kleinen Boot erreicht, da er auf der vorgelagerten Düne liegt !) insgesamt in allen Punkten sehr empfelenswert !!!

Sonnige Tage in der Casa Olivera

Wir verbrachten 2 herrliche Wochen mit 9 Personen (4 Generationen von 82 bis 12 J.) in dem sehr schönen und gepflegten Haus. Frühstück auf der großen Terrasse unter einem schattigen Baum, Relaxen am Pool auf bequemen Liegen. Man ist schnell an den herrlichen Stränden der Umgebung. Tolle Restauranttipps von den sympathischen Verwaltern, die bei Fragen stets zur Stelle waren. Auf jeden Fall für einen Familienurlaub zu empfehlen. Aug./Sept. 2010

La relation est bonne avec le gerant. Mais une piscine pas super propre et pas chauffee. La pelouse netait pas tondue et ne la pas ete du sejour. De leau chaude pour les douches 1 fois sur 2 puisque aux nombres de personnes dans la villa la quantite nest pas assez importante.

Une très belle villa, pratique et très bien situé.

Une belle villa, une location qui vous rappelle à quel point c'est important de ce sentir rapidement comme chez soi, même en vacances au Portugal. Le village de Santa Rita est magnifique, la proximité trop bien, 12 mn de Tavira, 12 mn de Villa Real de San Antonio, simplement magnifique. Plages, villes, et villages seulement à quelque minutes. Levé du soleil extraordinaire depuis le solarium, bref c'était génial. Les propriétaires sont facilement joignables, nous avons eu un petit souci avec le lave vaisselle, problème résolu en 2h00, à notre retour lave vaisselle changé et vaisselle propre 👌. Vraiment pas grand chose à redire. En espérant y retourner rapidement car ce fut pour nous des vacances de rêve.😍

Lovely holiday but some issues

This is a lovely, roomy villa and whilst we had a great week, there were some issues. Over half of the patio dining chairs were broken, the sun loungers were old and tatty and there were no sun parasols with the loungers. The back door didn't lock and the tap in the kitchen was faulty (this issue was resolved on quickly). There were ants in the kitchen drawers and on the worktops. Be advised that there are no tea towels, cloths or other washing up supplies provided at all. The grass lawn was totally overgrown and unusable. The lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms were all absolutely spotless and well provisioned. The pool was very clean and safe.

Lovely Family Holiday

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children stayed 15 nights there was plenty of room for all of us The villa was well equipped with everything you need The pool was a big hit with the children and adults 😀 We did plan to rent a car but found that the local taxi company was really reliable so we managed with out a car There is a local bar in Santa Rita which sells milk water some veg and soft drinks The lady that owns the bar is lovely we all fell in love with her The beaches are beautiful Manta Rota beach is only 10 mins in the car beautiful white sand it was still early in the season so only a few shops and 2 restaurants open both where very nice Really worth taking the boat from Travia town to Travia beach everything you could want there and very beautiful boat trip is 2€ adults and 1€ for children We had a little problem with the electric hob but this was sorted very quickly once we contacted the owner Only thing if we are being picky the pool furniture and sun beds have seen better days and could do with replacing but this did not affect us enjoying our holiday

Toppenboende för stora familjer

Tuppar som gal, hundar som skäller och kacklande hönor. Rena landet men bara en liten bit från turistområdena. Toppen med "egna" badrum till sovrummen. Perfekt för barnen med staket runt poolen och stor gräsyta att springa runt på.

Fantastic Villa

Myself and five other friends stayed in this villa the last week of September and had a fabulous time. The villa is extremely well equipped and had everything we could possibly want. The location is great with everything you want within a 10 minute drive but I would say you definitely need a car. Paul and Pam (the property managers) were lovely and were very accommodating to our requirements. I wouldn't hesitate in staying in this villa again and would definitely recommend it.

A really great property for a family holiday!

Our family of 8 adults & 3 children (8,5 &3) spent a great 2 weeks in the villa. It's situated in a quiet village, about 10 mins or so drive to nearest beach The property was spotless on arrival & the 'local agents' are part of the owner's family - the agents offered to get in some basic shopping for our arrival: a big help The garden has great rural views & the pool was great for us all. The details of the villa on the web-site were spot-on We chose not to hire any cars, but used local taxis. On our 1st morning we used a number recommended by the agents - & we then called him each time we required transport. If he was not available, he arranged for someone else to pick us up - sometimes from another company A local baker called each morning & baked a cake specially for our youngest grand-daughter's birthday! Our family all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, & fully intend going back We cannot recommend this property highly enough
