Offenes Bauernhaus in parkähnlicher Umgebung mit Holzinterieur und reichlich vorhandenen Fenstern, offenen Räumen, großen Versammlungsbereichen, einer Veranda mit Sichtschutz, einem Esstisch aus 14-Fuß-Zedernholz und einem Spielzimmer. Die Pine Trails-Anlage befindet sich auf mehr als 700 Morgen privatem Wald, darunter 2 private 40 Morgen große Seen - mit einem kurzen Pfad zu einem privaten Dock, das nur von Pine Trail-Gästen genutzt wird. Den Gästen stehen Kanus und Kajaks zur Verfügung. Es gibt über 18 Kilometer bewaldete Pfade, die sich durch Wälder, um den See und durch Feuchtgebiete schlängeln. Der offene Hof ist von altem Baumbestand umgeben und bietet über 2 Hektar Freifläche für Hofspiele und große Familientreffen. Eine Vielzahl von Hofspielen, 3 Großbildfernsehern, DVD-Playern (und über 200 DVDs für die Gäste) und Brettspielen stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.

Schlafbereich: Es gibt 4 Standard-Schlafzimmer und einen zusätzlichen oberen TV-Raum mit Queensize-Futon, der als Schlafzimmer genutzt werden kann.
Hauptschlafzimmer: Auf der oberen Ebene mit Kingsize-Bett, Ledersessel und separatem Queen-Futon. Große Schränke und Kommode zur Verfügung gestellt. Klimaanlage und Heizung auf Schlafzimmerebene, zusätzlich zur zentralen Luft.
Jugendzimmer: Neben dem Meister gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit Bärenmotiven, einem großen begehbaren Kleiderschrank, Etagenbetten (Doppelbett unten, zwei Einzelbetten oben) und ein zusätzliches Doppelbett. Schalldichte Fenster öffnen sich zur unteren Ebene.
Oberes Schlafzimmer: Großes offenes Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett, Lederlounge und Queensize-Futon für zusätzliche Schlafmöglichkeiten.
TV-Lounge: Befindet sich außerhalb des Hauptschlafzimmers, Queen Futon, Rocker Recliner und Großbildfernseher. Dieses Zimmer verfügt über eine separate Tür und kann als zusätzlicher Schlafbereich genutzt werden.
Main Level Schlafzimmer: Queen-Bett, Kommode, Schreibtisch und viel Stauraum.

Küche und Esszimmer: Große, offene, voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirr, Töpfen und Pfannen, Backzubehör und Geschirrspüler. 14-Fuß-Esstisch aus massiver Zeder mit Bänken.

Wohnzimmer: Großer offener Wohnbereich mit 2 großen Sofas und 2 großen Sofas sowie einem Smart-TV mit großem Bildschirm.

Badezimmer: Ein Vollbad mit Badewanne und Dusche und ein 3/4 Bad mit Dusche.

Wäscheservice: Waschmaschine und Trockner zur Verfügung für die Gäste.

GAMEROOM: Auf der unteren Ebene von Pine Trails steht den Gästen ein vollständiger Spielraum zur Verfügung. Dieser Spielraum ist vom Wohnbereich von Pine Trails aus zugänglich und verfügt auch über einen separaten Tastatureingang. Der Spielraum verfügt über einen großen Billardtisch, ein 14-Fuß-Shuffleboard, ein 7-Fuß-Airhockey, einen Tischfußball, elektronische Darts, einen Spieltisch mit Brettspielen, einen Getränkekühlschrank und einen TV-Loungebereich mit einem großen 60-Zoll-Smart-TV, ein Sofa. John was very nice and very informative. Beautiful place big and roomy for our family of 13. Game room offered a lot of games for the kids and adults, a lot of board games. The kids had fun and want to come back next year.

The house was clean with plenty of beds, bedding, towels, toilet paper, & even facial tissues and paper towel. We enjoyed the peaceful setting with access to the lake and kayaking. The games in the basement gave us all something to do when it was raining.

Relaxing stay with many fun things to do

Great place, very spacious! Wonderful and secluded location to relax. Plenty of things to do both inside and outside. Private lake with swimming platform and nice canoes, kayaks, paddleboards. The lake was still cool and refreshing late-July/early-August. Lots of fun trails, especially when you get a golf cart, but bring bug spray. Loved the large yard to run around and play lawn games, soccer, frisbee. We were able to use the fire pit cooking grates for the wood-fired flavor and had a peaceful hottub each night we stayed while watching the stars. The indoor game room and many dvds or boardgames offer so much to do, never had to leave. Inside we mostly spent our time in the large kitchen, game room and screened in porch. We'll be back for sure!

Family get away.

Very comfortable surroundings the kids loved the golf cart and trails. We also enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and going out to the floating raft. Everyone enjoyed our stay.

Our friend group has stayed here the last 3 years. We talk about this trip all year long and cannot wait for it to arrive! Great place

Everyone from 3 years old up to 67 had a great time relaxing at the house and enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing in the lake. We would highly recommend staying here. Plenty of room for large gatherings and lots to do in the basement too.

Huge home with everything you need

Love the enormous kitchen table. Had a puzzle going on one end and still plenty of room to eat. Massage chair got allot of use. Game room downstairs was allot of fun. Took many walks on the trails.

Family getaway fun

The basement game room was a big hit with our family as well as riding around on the golf carts exploring the property. The big table in the enormous kitchen space was perfect for playing group games and allowing for us to eat together family style. Other favorites were the massage chair and the screen porch. It was so pleasant to listen to the birds, feel the breeze and watch deer grazing in the distance from the porch. Great place!

Lesson Learned.....

The stay itself was pleasant. However, they offer a game room of broken games and a hot tub that the cover was falling apart. I'm not normally one to leave a bad review so I would have liked pay that. However, the owners are now claiming that we destroyed the "brand new" hot tub cover, and wants to charge us 1600 for a new one. This cover was water logged and falling apart from the moment we arrived. We are all in our late 30's with children, not a bunch of college kids. I have asked for proof this cover was new, but have yet to receive any. The lesson learned here, always take pictures of everything when you rent a place or people will take advantage of you and use you to replace their old belongings. Shame on these people.

Family vacation 2023

We enjoyed all the amenities of the property. We had lots of golf cart rides and played yard games. The hot tub was great. The house was very spacious since there were 16 of us and there was plenty of room. Everyone enjoy the game room and big screen TV. The screened in porch was great. We had plenty of area for visiting and relaxing! The only downside was the lake and the mosquitoes. There was a nice beach and park in Ladysmith which is a short drive away.

Chilly Family Fun

My family and our goldendoodle had a blast! Though Winter Storm Elliot delayed our arrival and kept us mostly indoors we had a wonderful Christmas at this property. The cabin had ample sleeping space for 7 adults (2 couples, 3 singles) and our dog. The kitchen was spacious and handled our cooking needs. The hot tub gave us a chance to recharge and relax, despite the teeth chattering cold air around us! The hosts and caretakers were awesome communicators and made our trip easy, accommodating several special requests we had.

The game room in the basement was the highlight of the stay for everyone! We had pool tournaments, played foosball, chess, darts and other games! There’s even a huge tv. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs bathroom has a shower only and the downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower, but both bathrooms are big with plenty of storage and towels. We didn’t use the fire pit but it looked really nice with a grate for cooking on.

Something for every family member

Pine Trails is a uniquely appointed place that can serve almost any need. The kitchen is very large and amazing, with nearly every convenience for baking or cooking and dish ware sufficient for large groups. From steaks on the grill to breakfast waffles to a home-made birthday cake, we had all our meals around the beautiful and huge dining table. That same table also allowed for card and board games during a rainy day. The bedrooms were comfortable and private. Most included their own air conditioning units, which was helpful as we were there in July. The downstairs included a pool table, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard.We rented two golf carts not knowing how much we would enjoy them! The grounds must have miles of trails around a small private lake, and we explored most of them over several days. They also provided canoes, paddle boards and kayaks at a small dock. There is a swimming platform in the lake; we used the canoes to get to it. Even in July the temperature of the water was brisk but still great for swimming. Young children may not enjoy the lake as much as there is no beach, but the young adults in our group loved it. Bring bug spray, which is to be expected in July in Wisconsin. We had to make a couple of trips for supplies - the town of Bruce is less than 5 minutes away and there is a Walmart in Ladysmith, which was less than 20 minutes away. A few of us enjoyed the coffeeshop in Bruce but mostly we stayed on the property.Truly, a special place.

Place was great. we stay for the weekend enjoyed the place but the basement kept getting filled with water due to the rain. Called The maintenance guy he came and cleaned up the basement but it rained again the next day and filled with water again. So hardly used the game room in the basement. Had no toilet paper had to call the maintenance guy to come give us some. Otherwise bedrooms are nice, kitchen is big great hiking trails.

Woodsy family get-away

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. I selected the property because I hoped my adult children from the Twin Cities could join for a day or two, even though they are short of formal vacations days. It happened to rain much of time (one day) they could spend, but we loved playing cards at the big table, sitting on the porch during a thunderstorm, playing the games in the game room and using the massage chair and hot tub. Appliances and furniture, including beds all high quality; all the games were in great working order. Later in the week, we played some golf and found a segment of the Ice Age Trail to hike. Also walked on the trails of the property every day and canoed around the lake one morning. Needed plenty of bug repellant to enjoy the woods and the golf, but that was no surprise. It was just what we were hoping for.

Lacked cleanliness and property information

The kitchen dishes were not clean and we had to clean dishes and small appliances before use . Shower curtains had mildew. No instructions for dishwasher that was complicated. Caretakers who checked us in did not give instructions about how to run the air conditioning system and we had to have calls with the owner. Written instructions would have helped. The screen porch was dirty. Frig had to be wiped out to use. Home was outdated and needed repair. We did appreciate all the beds for a large group and the hot tub was great!

Our first time stay.

We really enjoyed the golf cart, the trails, the large open area, fire pit, hot tub, massage chair, the game room, large dining table, screened in porch, and all the rooms, the Wi-fi. And the caretaker was great! Negatives were that there are only 2 bathrooms (we had 10 people, and it can sleep 16), the several areas of the yard that are constantly wet and muddy from hoses pumping water from the house basement area?, the basement floor seemed damp or moist and there were no rugs down as shown in the pictures, the refrigerator interior had to be cleaned before we could put food into it, kitchen items inventory needs to be checked (there was only one dish cloth and one dish towel and no dishwasher soap and minimal bathroom soap), the lake is not very close at all, and you can't swim at all in the water next to the dock. No pontoon use was possible, and we ended up going to Cameron, a half hour away, to rent a pontoon for a day on a lake there. There are so many things that we really liked, but several important things that aren't available. Overall, we're glad we went. Undecided for next year.
