The second I walked into this house, I knew I would not be staying there. Although the house was immaculate, it definitely was not as expected. The furniture is very uncomfortable and “sterile”. That’s the overall vibe of this house. The outdoor space is non-existent and you can barely open the door without steeping into the pool. There is not one inch of grass for a dog to even use the bathroom in the back yard. I reached out to the house manager who was very polite and professional to voice my displeasure. Due to the fact that I booked Christmas week, I was not able to get a refund for anything other than the two days I booked to stay a couple of extra days prior to my original reservation. While I understand this is a business, when you pay this kind of money for a rental, you expect the comforts that go along with that price tag. The space is very small and misleading in the pictures. The backyard is non-existent and the home is at the end of a dead end coming off of a very busy street.I am aware this review reflects nothing more than personal preference. However, one should hope that accommodations match the price tag, which in this case, I feel they grossly do not.The positives are that the house is well maintained and clean. The house management and owners are very polite and professional. Just not at all what I expected and didn’t even stay a single night and walked away from a lot of money.
