The Fox Hollow Estate is a private 1940s estate home, renovated to modern-day luxury, located in gorgeous Berkshire County, is a 3-level home with 7,800 sq feet of living space, situated on 21 acres; including 5 acres of rolling lawn and 16 acres of forest. This gorgeous, historic home built by the prominent Samuel Colt family in 1940, has been newly renovated and has 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 half baths, top of the line Subzero / Wolf appliances, and state of the art technology throughout. The basement has an additional sofa bed, pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, rowing machine, exercise bike, big screen TV and sauna room. The master bath has a steam shower with aroma therapy, blue tooth speakers and multiple water jets. There are three gas fireplaces and one wood fireplace throughout the home. Available concierge services include a chef and driver for trips to sites throughout the Berkshires. This home is the perfect home base for the Tanglewood summer festival, hiking, skiing and lake activities. Coming in June of 2025 is a 12x28 heated inground pool with built in sun deck overlooking the beautiful and maintained backyard and the forest (Optional Pool Heater available for $50 per day). Situated just 5 minutes from downtown Pittsfield, MA, within close proximity to Onota Lake, Lake Pontoosic, Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony), Norman Rockwell Museum, Clark Museum, Jacob's Pillow Dance, Barrington Stage Company, Berkshire Theatre Group, The Berkshire Museum, many local taverns and restaurants, and Jiminy Peak Ski resort. If you are up to a picturesque drive down some country roads in nearby Lenox or Stockbridge, you will have a chance to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum, local farmer's markets, vineyards, distilleries, and many quaint shopping areas nestled in the hills of the Berkshires. From a quiet getaway tasting the local flavors or an adventure tackling the slopes of Jiminy Peak, Fox Hollow is your ideal destination in Berkshire County.

Wonderful, Charming stay

The host was great and the property was marvelous. They were super clear on communication and were very responsive. The hot tub was amazing and peaceful. The Master bedroom steam shower was worth the whole booking, it was amazing! Was a great spot for all the guests with plenty of rooms to hangout in. Everything was great, would recommend and stay here again!

The Property is wonderful, featuring a beautiful and comfortable outdoor space, comfortable beds, and a kitchen equipped with every cooking implement you could desire. It also boasts a game room with air hockey and a pool table. We enjoyed wonderful meals together, taking advantage of all that Western Mass has to offer including swimming in Lake Onata, Visiting the Clark Museum, biking on the rail trail, a pick your own flower farm, going to Tanglewood, and taking short hikes, but mostly the property afforded us, a group of old friends, the chance to hang out together in a beautiful setting. The owner was incredibly responsive to some questions we had and we will definitely consider returning.

Perfect retreat

Kenneth’s property has absolutely everything you could think of for a relaxing weekend in the Berkshires. Our large group of adult cousins was quite comfortable, with plenty of space for people to break away to work or retreat. The kitchen is a dream for big groups of people, with a double oven, massive fridge, and separate beverage drawers. The new pool is the perfect space for cooling off without overtaking the beautiful property. We really enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. There is a red tailed hawk that lives in a neighboring tree. Overall, we were very impressed with the property, amenities, and Kenneth’s communication. We hope to return next year!

An amazing getaway!

We had a getaway for four couples at Fox Hollow Estate, and it was amazing! We did a little bit of work, a little bit of team-building exercises, and a lot of rest. The property let us do all of that and more. It has a Victorian feel with many modernized upgrades! The master bathroom with a claw-foot tub, a steam/aromatherapy shower, and dark walnut was spectacular. The kitchen, with its beautiful cabinetry, hidden appliances (microwave, dishwasher), built-in wine cellar, and amazing range stove, made the slow mornings very enjoyable. The entire place was very clean and had a character that made you feel you were staying in a Victorian estate. But the hospitality and communication provided by the host, Ken exceeded everything! He was prompt in getting back to me when I had questions and was very intentionaly to ensure we had a great stay! We will definately stay again in the future!
