It was a perfect house swap and we both attended our favorite international events. Ever since then, I've enjoyed the concept of living locally and feeling like a local.

A very central location called "7 Corners" - the crossroads and intersection of Rt. 50, Rt. 7, I-66, etc. It is just 5 5-minute drive to the Metro that has a park & ride to reach the city. This is a quaint suburb of DC, which is less than 3/4 mile stroll downhill to the lake.
There are a lot of shops and restaurants at Eden Center and the Falls Church boutiques down Route 7. Annadale has great Korean food. It is also about 15-20 minutes from the museums.
Bluemont park has many sport fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds for children. There is also a water park, mini-golf, and batting cages nearby at Upton Hill regional park which is within 6 minutes drive.
