    Fabulous place to spend the weekend with family, friends or on a retreat!

    I booked Woodlands Farmhouse for a weekend retreat I was organising. It was wonderful! From the initial communication, through the booking process and in the run up to the retreat, the communication and reassurances I needed were fabulous. The Farmhouse, Milking Parlour and the pool complex are amazing and made a special weekend even better - the pool and gym are a real bonus and make this place feel very better than most others, exclusive and relaxing. I would 100% recommend and looking forward to running another retreat there next year.

    Family weekend

    We had an excellent weekend at Woodlands. Fifteen members of the family with ages ranging from nineteen to eighty four and all agreed that Woodlands was the perfect venue.

    An ideal venue for our family get together.

    This was our first visit here and we have already booked for next year. The house has so much space for groups to do different things in different rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and we managed to get all 14 round the large table. The library was a welcome source of books and it gave us an excuse to sit and read so we could finish the book before we left. The bedrooms were clean and well resourced, as were the en suite bathrooms. We all loved the exclusive use of the spa by pre booking. The hot tub and the games room were well used and there was plenty of outdoor space for ball games. One of our party opened the front door on arrival, stood and looked around and said, "I like this". Well, we all liked it and can't wait for next year.

    A spectacular farmhouse

    A beautifully renovated property, keeping all the history but with modern comforts. Well equipped farmhouse kitchen with a large dining table, many characterful and gorgeously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. A brilliant games room and hot tub and a share of the lovely indoor swimming pool. Wonderful countryside views and of Glastonbury Tor. We were a mixed family group from Grandparents to newborns and the house was perfect. Would certainly suit teenagers too. We loved it and can’t wait to return. Thank you very much.

    60 th Birthday Celebration

    Overall, the experience was fantastic. 4 generations were royally entertained with the accommodation, the facilities and the atmosphere of a big farmhouse. The only slightly disappointing part was the TV room, which we all felt was really dated. Poor quality screen and old sky box, even though there is a full package available. WE WILL RETURN in the future. JMark Church

    A holiday to remember

    Woodlands farmhouse gave us a holiday to remember. On arrival, we did have a problem with the heating and it was sorted out very quickly by a lovely lady whose name I can’t recall! Having ensuite bedrooms was such a good place for us as there were 14 people of various ages. The large kitchen diner is where we mostly congregated if we weren’t in the lovely courtyard or hot tub. Having the swimming pool so close by was such a bonus as my elder father on his scooter was able to get there pretty smoothly. We would definitely book this again if we ever needed a large group accommodation.

    Fantastic to be with all of the family in a truly exceptional house.

    This house was ideal as our family ranged from 15 to 85 years old. Something for everyone and even better they all want to return. Hopefully we will and fairly soon. Thank you all behind the scenes.
