The unit was much bigger than we needed. But wanted the second bedroom. It was surprisingly quiet for being across from the elevators. Wished we were on a higher floor. Stayed on a higher floor once before and could see a lot of sea life. We were surprised that there were no condiments, not even salt or pepper. And no foil or plastic wrap. Beach service was a must! We are in our 70’s and don’t want to carry a bunch of stuff. Would stay in that unit again.

Overall not terrible. The place was exactly as listed. It truly just needs some updates. TV’s were outdated and the smart TV didn’t work in the living room for streaming so only cable. WiFi didn’t work well. The floors were not clean and the couches had an odor. I will say the hosts were fabulous at communicating. They offered to come fix our coffee pot and gave info to have the WiFi checked out.

I hate to hear that you had an issue with the elevators during your stay, but I'm happy to report that all the elevators are operational and your judgment of time is way off. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for an elevator, even on the 4th of July. Also, it appears that you have abnormally large hands as the building has 7 elevators. I hope you have better luck with the elevators during your next vacation.

Loved the layout of the condo & area. Will not come back due to chore of getting luggage from garage to room AND ridiculously slow elevators!!!! We took the steps A LOT!! Blackout curtains needed in one bedroom & dishwasher detergent door did not open!

My office stands by our cleanings and is always willing to address any issues. I wish you would've given our office a call to inform us about the carpet. Our office is open 7 days a week and we even have an after-hours line for emergencies. I'm happy to report that a full carpet cleaning has since been completed. I hope you have better luck during your next vacation.

The condo was nice but could use a deep clean. The carpet in the bedrooms was old and very dirty. The elevator was loud. The pillows on the bed smelled of another persons head. We washed the pekoe cases and laid the pillows on the balcony in the sun

Girl's Trip 2023

We had 7 women on our trip ranging from ealry 30's to early 40's and it was amazing! Tidewater is in the best location and has every amenity you can think of. The condo was plenty big enough for our group and super comfy. The elevators do have a wait, especially during peak hours, but being on the 5th floor made it easy to take the stairs! The staff was amazing and always friendly and helpful. Loved the pools and hot tubs and tiki bar. We had horrible weather and water the whole time while we were there but we still had the best time! Definitely would recommend this condo! Thanks for the amazing memories!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Tidewater numerous times in the past, but always with the bedrooms on the ocean side, not the street side. This condo has the bedrooms not only on the street side, but in front of the elevator. I had read the reviews and they all said there was no problem with either of those, but they are wrong! We had no sleep they whole time we were there. This is a very nice condo!! But if you stay, make sure you bring good earplugs.

Thank you for booking with us. I'm sorry to hear that you had an issue sleeping while you were in our condo. This is the first time we've had a quest complaint about noise. Our inspection notes after your departure, showed that the window was left slightly open and I believe that is what caused your lack of sleep. I wish we could've addressed the issue for you during your stay, our office is open 7 days a week and we have an after hours maintenance line. We hope you're able to come back to stay again soon.

Great lower floor

The condo itself was overall good. The televisions did not work. I left a message to report it. No return phone call. When I called back the next day I was told that they were just too busy and had not listened to messages. I was finally transferred and told no one could fix a cable box over the weekend and since we were leaving on Sunday there was nothing they could do. I was disappointed in that type of service. Honesty if the cable service was out altogether shouldn’t that have been checked prior to guests arriving for a stay?
