Nun geht es in unsere fünfte Mietsaison!
Ein wahrhaft seltener Fund, dieses 1600 Quadratmeter große Cottage mit 3 Schlafzimmern liegt zwischen Zedern und Birken. Die große Rasenfläche führt zu einem privaten Grundstück am Wasser. Im Herbst und Winter genießen Sie den Bruce, wenn er nicht so voll ist, aber genauso schön. Nur wenige Minuten vom Zugang zum Schneemobil entfernt!
Das neu renovierte Ferienhaus verfügt über gewölbte Kieferndecken, Holzfußböden und Schiefer in der Küche. Setzen Sie sich auf das große Deck und blicken Sie auf Pine Tree Harbor und den Lake Huron. Drei Terrassentüren bieten Zugang zu dieser großartigen Aussicht vom Deck. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat einen eigenen Terrasseneingang zum Deck.
Der fertige Walkout-Keller umfasst das dritte Schlafzimmer, Sauna, Waschraum, Aufenthaltsraum, Bartresen und Waschküche.

Das Hotel liegt am ruhigen Pine Tree Harbor am Lake Huron. Der Hafen bietet großartige Angelmöglichkeiten für Barsch und Barsch oder einen Ausflug an den See und probieren Sie Ihr Glück beim Lachs- oder Hechtangeln! In einer typischen Nacht fangen Sie Ihren gerechten Fischanteil direkt in diesem Hafen!

Für Ihren Genuss stehen 5 Kajaks zur Verfügung (3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder). Der Hafen bietet ein tolles und sicheres Kajak-Erlebnis. Außerdem steht ein Aluminiumboot zur Verfügung, falls dies Ihren Bedürfnissen besser entspricht.

The properties amenities were awesome. I was able to kayak, the little wharf was charming and we sat there for afternoon wine, and the house was commodious and well appointed. There were only two of us and I could see the place would be more fun with more people. Lovely views of the harbor. A great place.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, spacious waterfront cottage. We enjoyed the stargazing and meteor shower at this dark sky preserve area of Miller Lake.It was perfect for our family, with plenty of room for everyone and lots to do both indoors and outside. The property is incredibly private, making it a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time together. The waterfront setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cottage had everything we needed for a memorable family getaway. We would definitely love to return!

This is an absolutely great cottage for peace and quiet, sunrises, clear clean water for swimming, privacy, everything we needed. We are a group of four seniors , one small dog and this was perfect! The large table gave us lots of room to do a 1000 pc puzzle with more than enough space to enjoy our meals. Large bright windows, fantastic deck and tons of outdoor comfy furniture. We enjoyed the dock which also had comfy chairs. Walking into the water from the little beach area was easy with a sandy bottom and gradual walk out to deeper water. Easy swim out to the floating raft. I suggest water shoes, which we had, as there are some rocks a little deeper out. The stars at night were amazing. Comfy beds, very homey, you could just make yourself totally comfortable with an at home feel. If your adventurous there is tons of trails in the area, but this time round we just appreciated the property and cottage.I would definitely recommend and hope we can return again next year! Kathy the host is very easy to reach and responds to all questions promptly. Much appreciated Kathy!

Our family of 7 had a great time at the Cottage! It really is a lovely spot and well cared-for. There are so many nice outdoor spaces; I think we each could have had our own spot if we'd wanted! :) The kayaks, SUP's and canoe were fabulous and got a lot of use. The Cottage is about 25 minutes from most things, so it was really great to have so much to do onsite. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend to others!Some considerations for future guests: the downstairs bathroom is pretty tight quarters for the shower and toilet (which is small and very near a wall). Our teens preferred showering upstairs. The two smaller bedrooms are just that - smaller. This wasn't a problem for us, just something to be aware of.

Perfect place to slow down.

We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the mornings and evenings sipping our hot beverages, watching the loons, drinking in the beauty of the bay and listening to the waves of the lake in the distance. My husband and I made use of the canoe around the bay which was so calm. Did not have any luck catching fish though. This cottage is a great location to get to several day hike locations and going out to eat. We will be back!

Beautiful

This home is bright and lovely. The property is very private and right on the water. I was able to bring my dog, who loved swimming off the dock. At night we went outside to stargaze. We could see the Milky Way and thousands of stars thanks to the lack of light interference . This home was an easy drive to Tobermory and the other areas we wanted to see. I would highly recommend this great place.

Nice property

The place is clean and property is on water and beautiful but very remote with not a lot of options for excursions. Would be nice to have full use of fridge and have room for grocery items, as it felt like we were living in someone’s space. If you’re looking to maximize your time, be aware of tight checkin and out times. Kathy is responsive.

We were are also happy that we were able to offer you an early check-in immediately upon your request. To clarify our refrigerator situation for future guests, we have two standard sized refrigerators. In one we keep condiments only. There's no perishable foods. Our condiments take up very little space. In the basement fridge we keep a few cans of beverages. Again these take very little space. Both freezers are empty. There really is lots of room in both refrigerators. It is our cottage and we do use it ourselves and are offering it to others to enjoy with their families. We are not simply an investment property. There are countless excursions 20 minutes from our cottage in both the north or south directions. We are known by several guests including countless repeat guests as the perfect location. Our guests hear loons and watch migrating birds, fish right off the dock kayak or canoe. And last but certainly not least, our night skies are exceptional for stargazing. If you want to escape to a nature retreat with all the comforts of home only 20 mins from Tobermory or Lions Head, we are the perfect spot!

Fantastic week at Miller Lake

We had a wonderful time exploring and hiking in the area. We specifically picked this cottage because of the property and beach access. The water level was very low but that also made the water warm. Make sure you bring water shoes as the lake has a loose mud bottom. The cottage was great and met our needs. Having coffee on the back deck was a lovely way to start the day. The bed situation was not ideal for us as we had one adult sleeping in a bunk bed but we knew that going in that would be the only reason we would think twice about staying there again Highly recommend this property

Quiet and peaceful

We wanted a quiet and peaceful getaway and we got exactly that. Kathy was very attentive to us and responded to our requests in a timely manner. The cottage was a well equipped and relaxing. We had nice warm fires and plenty of boardgames to played with the family when wanting to do nothing but chill out. We had wonderful times just out on the large dock staring at the sunrise, sunset, and stars on clear nights. The cottage also served as a perfect starting point for numerous hikes on the Bruce Peninsula - from a nice afternoon in Tobermory to exploring the Grotto as well as hiking the Lionhead portion of the Bruce trail. Would definitely go back.

Peaceful, Cozy and Clean

This property is true to the pictures, however I think In person it is even nicer, it has a nice ‘warmth’ to it. I travel with my dog and he and I loved the beach that is part of this property. Great proximity to Singing Sands, Little Cove and Tobermory.

Miller Lake

This cottage had an amazing property, the landscape surrounding was absolutely breathtaking. With a large yard for lots of games, a long dock to see the beautiful lake and even a beach area for the kids to play in the same and walk into the water! We went during a very warm week, and there is no A/C so evenings were very hot and some evenings it rained so the whole cottage was very humid and held a lot of moisture. So sleeps were not that great, but everything else was amazing !!

Pine Tree Harbour Miller Lake

Really liked the layout of the cottage, lots of comfortable places to sit inside and out. Beautiful view of the harbour from the dock. Great spot for kayaking. Central location to activities on the Bruce Peninsula. Beware of the goose droppings!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry that the geese were around. We try to keep those annoying birds off our property as best as we can but sometimes they are very persistent when we are not around to scare them away.
