Welcome to Whispering Waves, a home like no other, in a place like no other. This newly constructed two-story stilt home offers expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding islands. Large windows capture beautiful sunrises and sunsets, while the 4 decks let you look out and enjoy the peaceful breeze. Decorated with precision, this home combines comfort and style for an idyllic island retreat. Come and make the memories that last a lifetime.
Interior
Whispering Waves offers a spacious, open layout with high ceilings and large windows throughout. On Level 2 the fully equipped kitchen, with seating for six at the counter, is perfect for gathering, while the dining area seats eight and offers sunset views. The living room includes a large sectional, a fireplace for cooler days, and a TV for movie nights. A queen bedroom suite on Level 2 is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring wide doorways, open walkways, and a roll-in shower. NOTE that the home does NOT have a lift or elevator for guest use.
On Level 1, the main suite features a king bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, and private en-suite. This bedroom opens to a large private deck with Gulf viewsâa perfect spot to relax in the breeze. Two additional bedroomsâeach with a lower queen bed and 2 high twin XL beds with laddersâshare a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. A washer and dryer on this floor add convenience.

Whispering Wavesâ bright aqua exterior sets the tone for a relaxing island stay. The main deck offers a BBQ, seating area, and dining table, ideal for enjoying meals with a Gulf view. The three additional decks off the bedrooms allow for sun, shade and time to just sit back and relax in the breeze.
Neighborhood
Located in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Cedar Key, Whispering Waves provides easy access to the islandâs historic charm and relaxed pace. Cedar Key is perfect for exploring by foot, bike, or golf cart. The island offers art galleries, unique shops, and waterfront dining with fresh seafood. Guests can also enjoy bird-watching, fishing, and kayaking through scenic mangroves and coastal waters, while discovering Cedar Keyâs rich history as a 19th-century port town.
McCormick Management has a Cedar Key office open 7 days a week to answer questions or help with any problems you may have while here. All of our homes are equipped with smart locks so you can check in and out as you please!

Parking: Room for four vehicles. No parking in grass area.
- Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
- Do not trespass on other people`s property, this includes docks and driveways. Note, this property does Not have a dock. The dock located on the lot next door is Private, do not trespass.
- Please be careful where you park, don`t block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
- Parties and/or events are not allowed
- No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
- Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
- $150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
- Please donât eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
- Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
- Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
- Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if thereâs a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
- Please donât rearrange the furniture.
- Please do your dishes.
- No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.
