Traveling to/around the Upper Valley region of Vermont - Explore by foot, by ski, by bike, or by horseback: • You’ll definitely need your own car, as there are limited taxis available. While the town itself is walkable, it will be necessary to drive to nearby hikes and sightseeing spots. The outer parts of town, such as South Woodstock, are only conveniently accessed by car. • Bike rentals are available in the village, though biking in the commercial area of the village is discouraged, as the flow of people and cars can be concentrated. The terrain has many hills, and a mountain bike should be used to traverse such rugged areas.

Beautiful place!
One of the best houses I've rented from VRBO. Beds were great, bathrooms well equipped and kitchen had everything we needed. So many enjoyable spots to relax. Great walking trail just up the road. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Vacation in the Upper Valley
The property is very well located, and works well for multiple families.
We had easy access to a local open space property, with lots of trails to explore, so one hardly needed to travel to enjoy the hills. That said, there is easy access to I89 and to the resources of the Upper Valley.
The house itself has a design echoing of a multistory tree house- not so large that it is overwhelming, but there is ample common space but also varies places to have some privacy.
Would definitely return!

Absolutely beautiful
This house is spectacular. It suited our needs for 3 adults, 2 teens and a tween. There was great space to spread out or to gather - multiple sitting rooms and living areas. The back deck overlooking the field was by far my favorite part of the house. We started every day out there with coffee and ended each day relaxing while taking in the view. The property is very well managed - we had a minor issue with the hot water soon after arrival and they were right on top of it. It was fixed ASAP. I will be recommending this property to friends and family and hope to return again soon.

Beautiful and Well Equipped House
We stayed for four days and loved the house. Beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The only issue was the noise of the nearby highways. It was not pleasant to be outside.
