Ladies Weekend

The location and property were perfect for our ladies weekend. A wonderful kitchen with a 10 seat island that we literally hung out around all the time. Bedrooms and baths were great and the coastal interior was beautiful. Our hosts were very available for any questions and information. Loved our stay!!!

So Much Room!

The property was super clean, well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, and had SO MUCH ROOM! We were down for a school related event and knew we'd have lots of visitors in and out. We were able to enjoy ourselves without being piled on top of one another. Great stay!

This was the first home we stayed at in Florida that had absolutely everything we needed - even a crockpot! The home was nicely decorated, clean, and neat! We had a wonderful time; however, the month went by too quickly. Maybe 2 months next year!

Amazing Home and close to the beach

We loved the home, it was clean and there was lots of space for the entire family. The beach was a 3 minute ride away on the golf cart and the chair service was a nice feature. The pool was great as we hung out there every day after the beach and we used the back yard to play cards in the evening. Finally Sue is a great host and was very helpful as we planned the stay.

Wonderful family beach house

My family just returned from a wonderful stay at Sunny Treasures beach house. This new construction 5 bedroom home had it all: easy access to the beach (5 minute walk or 3 minute car ride), luxurious bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, gorgeous great room, tons of space for multiple families, and private patio with small soaking pool. The owners provided bikes, a wagon to take to the beach, and extra beach chairs making it so easy to enjoy a family beach vacation! I look forward to my trip next year.

Enough room for 9 adults.

Enjoyed the large extra long pub table and 10 chairs. Glad we rented the 6 passenger golf cart. Easy to get to beach, coffee shop, and souvenir store. Pool was supposed to be heated but it wasn’t working so owner promptly refunded the fee.

Wonderful Week

This was the perfect house for our entire family! Having the golf cart was great for the short ride to the beach. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave. We didn’t get to do some of the normal things we like to on vacation due to COVID-19 but we made the most of it. Everything we needed was at the house.

The house beautiful and spacious, but unfortunately, our stay was disappointing in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Upon arrival, we noticed that the home was not very clean, and the backyard looked neglected compared to the neighbors.The freezer was not working properly, it wasn’t making ice and anything frozen, like ice cream and popsicles, melted quickly. We couldn’t store meat safely, so we had to make daily trips to the grocery store to prevent food from spoiling.The washer downstairs was out of order, and the dryer upstairs was in terrible condition. The lint build-up was so bad that the filter wouldn’t close properly, which ended up damaging our swimsuits.While the property is beautiful, it clearly needs much better upkeep, thorough cleaning and regular maintenance to make the stay as enjoyable as the setting promises.

Beautiful, large, spacious, well decorated house. Outstanding!

There were 10 of us (2 10-year olds, 2 15-year olds, assorted adults). Plenty of space to move around. Very large kitchen area. Boys loved their room with bunk beds and games. They dubbed it their "cave". All bedrooms are large with plenty of closet space. TV's in all bedrooms and den. Hook up for 6-seat golf cart in 2-car garage. 3 bikes. Plenty of beach toys, etc. Large public beach about 6 blocks away, near Pompano Joe's. Renting a cart makes it easy to get to the beach. We all had a great time due in part to these great facilities.

Beautiful!

We just returned from staying here for the week. There were 9 of us and the house was set up perfectly for our families. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious for all of us. The only complaint, and its not necessarily a complaint, we felt the pool was quite small for a house that can sleep up to 14 people. There is only enough seating by the pool area for 7, and 3 of it being lounge chairs. Thankfully the ocean was warm and we spent each day there. We actually never used the pool simply cause its too small to do much in it other than stand. I wish that there had been some kind of beach towel supplied as well. We ended up buying 9 new towels and with traveling it was something we needed to make sure we had room to bring home. Overall the house was perfect for our vacation!

Beautiful home but the construction

The home itself is beautiful and very well stocked (pretty much everything you would need). The only issue we had and why I gave three stars was for the construction going on right behind the home. We stayed for a week and for five days (Monday through Friday) it started at 7:00 am and continued until 5:00-6:00 pm. Not only was it noisy but there were workers staring into the backyard all day while you were trying to enjoy the pool. When you have two girls, 18 and 23, not something you particularly enjoy! We feel the construction going on should have been disclosed. We would stay at this home again but only when all the construction has been completed.

It is truly a "Sunny Treasure"!

My friends and my family stayed here 2 weeks ago and we had a blast! We had a great spring break in this fabulous "home away from home". Everything we expected and needed were here. We are 4 families and with 5 rooms available, the bunk room served as an extra room for the boys. Having bathrooms for each family are also a plus. We loved the open concept of the kitchen and family room. It made our dining and family bonding enjoyable. The pool although small, made a great addition to this property. We love that it can be heated for a small fee. 2 washers, 2 dryers?- very thoughtful of the owners! Sue is very kind. She provides the answers to all my questions in a timely manner. Thank you, Sue, for recommending to rent the golf cart from Scott. He is very detailed and helpful. We enjoyed having the convenience of going back and forth to the beach and groceries in style :) I recommend this place to anyone who seek fun, sun, and relaxation all at the same time. We all want to come back to Destin and stay here again! We already miss Sunny Treasure! Wiwin

Beach House

Overall the property was nice. The pool was not clean ( we had to get ALOT of sticks and leaves out) and hedges were overgrown on the walkway that the kids could barely fit through. There was an exposed plug in a bunk bed area that was very dangerous for small children . For the amount of money that we paid to stay, I will inquire other properties before this one.

Family vacation

Property was in a great location. Close distance to the beach and stores. The house was spacious enough for a family of 10. Property was not very clean and had several issues. While during our stay we arrived to more than 1 broken piece of patio furniture, dirty pool that had a leak and low on water, rented their golf cart that had inoperable turn signals, a piece of the BBQ grate broke off while cooking and there was a small leak in the kitchen. Overall, if there was a small investment to more maintenance in the upkeep of the property it would really be a perfect spot.

The house was excellent. Lots of room for the whole family to spread out. The patio is very nice, but the pool is small and therefore very warm even in May. The decks are a plus. The neighborhood is nice but not a lot of sidewalks for walking.

The house has everything you need but beach towels! It was awesome. One family with children upstairs, one family with children downstairs and grandparents on the main. Mitch was very well stocked. Golf cart a big plus! Would definitely stay again.

Great space!

Our family had a great trip in this house! Our only drawbacks were we wished the pool was a bit larger for how many the house can hold. For family’s with small children, note that the kids bunk room is on the level of exterior exits to the pool, garage, and just a flight of stairs from the front door. Just something to be aware of but GREAT space, super nice and accessible owner and property manager, great neighborhood and we made the walk to the beach several times with many toddlers. It’s close and easy! Thanks!

Can't give good review, too many issues for price

Home was good, several issues we addressed were handled, pool area was good, grill was not clean, golf cart key was not in box had to make several calls to correct. We had several issues with areas not cleaned well. We don't recommend due to construction noise next door at this time. Location was ok, we've stayed in better locations.
