With the incredible location on Lillie Ave., you have the convenience of being able to walk to many unique stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Our home was built in 1910 and is RUSTIC. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, but please remember it’s an older home. The hardwood floors creak a little, and the tile in the kitchen isn’t new. Lillie’s BOHO surf cottage is full of soul and good vibrations. With a wood stove in the main room, this vacation rental is NOT equipped with heat or air conditioning. Each room has a fan and a space heater. There is no dishwasher. Community tennis and basketball courts are a few minutes' walk from the house. Lookout Park is located nearby and has a playground for young children. Parking notes: Free parking is available in the driveway for two vehicles. Due to local laws, guests must be at least 21 to book. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under 21 for the reservation duration. Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm - 9:00 am. Please respect our neighbors.

Enjoy being minutes from the beach, downtown Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and the many other attractions right at your fingertips! For stays longer than 7 days, the unit is cleaned once a week with a $95 weekly cleaning charge. You will be 5 min walk to Summerland Beach, 3 min walk to Summerland Winery, 3 min walk to Red Kettle Coffee, 3 min walk to Summerland Beach Café, 5-minute walk to GODMOTHER’s bookstore and cafe, 3 min walk to Sweet Wheel Farms (Hyper-Local Farm-Stand Open 7 Days/Week), 5 min drive to Montecito (north), 8 min drive to Carpinteria (south), 10 min drive to Santa Barbara (north). Amy, the rental agent for this property, goes out of her way to make guests feel welcomed & comfortable! The house itself is so homey and the view and entire town of Summerland is amazing! Montecito & Santa Barbara are both nearby and easy to get to.I can’t say enough about this place and Amy herself! I return often and recommend it highly.

My husband and I loved the cozy cottage, and how easy it was to get to the nearby beach. We happened to visit during the hottest September in Santa Barbara history, and our host was in regular communication to ensure that we stayed safe and as cool as was possible. Even without AC, there were plenty of ways to stay comfortable. We loved that we could relax in the front yard for more sun or the back for shade and songbirds.

The Summerland Lillie Boho Beach house is very quaint, homey and filled with personality! It is well stocked with everything you need and has interesting decorations, books, magazines and games. The views are fantastic and I really love the grounds. It is an old home which has been taken well care of. It's convenient to Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. Amy, our host, is very responsive. The cottage was perfect!!! Everything was exactly what we expected. Only minor issue was that there was a heat wave when we were in SB and we hadn’t read the ad carefully enough to realize there was no air conditioning. There were plenty of fans so we were comfortable but if AC is an issue, remember that there is none. Even with that the cottage couldn’t have been lovelier. Amy couldn’t have been kinder and more responsive.overall perfect stay!!!

I have stayed here several times and it is just as inviting and welcoming each time! The location is wonderful, the view is amazing, and it offers a very private house and yard with a charming atmosphere. Amy, the agent, is great at communicating & always makes me feel at home. Summerland is a cute, quaint town and is very close to Montecito and Santa Barbara. I have family in Santa Barbara and I hope to continue to stay at this property many more times in the future.

This was such a perfect, relaxing, casual vibe for our 3-day weekend. There is a roomy living room and a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you would need. The backyard is a great place to hang out and the ocean view out the front window was so peaceful. This cottage is also walkable within 3-5 minutes to coffee shops, bookstore, boutiques and restaurants. Super cute town and we would stay there again.

Lillie’s was a wonderful stay for my friend and I who were in town from LA & AZ , for a wedding. It has incredible views of the ocean and landscape. The house is decorated really unique and gives the surf bungalow feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Philip and his guests were absolutely wonderful to host. Communication was smooth and friendly from the very start, and they were respectful of the space throughout their stay. They left everything clean and tidy, showing great care and consideration. It was a real pleasure having them, and we would be happy to welcome Philip and his guests back anytime. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at this cute cottage. The only bummer was that we didn’t get to hang out at the property for extended time due to being in town for a lacrosse tournament, but would love to go back. The coffee shop down the street has GREAT coffee and the bookstore “Godmothers” is the coziest I’ve ever been to.
