Located in a beautiful beach little town sorrounded by nature

Dulces Suenos Vista Ocotal 10 is a walking distance to the beach condo. With the pool and the beach literally mere steps from the front porch, this villa Dulces Suenos in Vista Ocotal 10 is aptly suited for a relaxing vacation for a larger family or various couples vacationing together.

The master bedroom has its own balcony and features a queen size bed and a insuite full bathroom, one of the guest rooms has a queen size bed and an insuite full bathroom, the other two guest rooms feature double beds sharing a full bathroom to cater to a maximum of eight guests (no special facilities for young children in the house). There is ample closet space. All bedrooms have blackout curtains perfect for a good night`s sleep.

The large, well-equipped kitchen is part of a large open concept living space, with a nice living/dining area. The high ceilings add to the feeling of grandeur. Of course, all the rooms feature air conditioning and it goes without saying that WiFi internet is available, as is a choice of local and international (English language) TV channels. The unit has an indoor washer/dryer.

We have carefully furnished and decorated our home in a way that we hope will be welcoming and comfortable to our (and your) guests.

Guests of Dulces Suenos at Vista Ocotal have access to the condo complex pool and rancho (community outdoor with seating) area.

There are several restaurants nearby Playa Ocotal that are excellent, as well as many more in Playa del Coco.

Dulces Suenos at Vista Ocotal offers you all the ingredients for a wonderful and memorable vacation in very comfortable surroundings. The Liberia airport is approximately an hour away driving.

Great location, great price, super clean and comfortable. Stayed here for a scuba trip with Rocket Frog in nearby Coco. Worked out perfectly.

Relaxing

Overall our stay was nice. The beach club was no longer available during our stay because of the Hoa decision. It was the reason why we booked this villa.We did wish there was a little cooler provided for the beach and a hair dryer. Our only ick were the roaches in the kitchen.Enjoyed seening the howler monkeys from the balcony at at the beach.

Beautiful week at Vista Ocotal

Wonderful roomy 4 bedroom townhouse with nice furnishings and decor. Beautuful setting with lots of wildlife! We had a family of monkeys on a tree next door. We rented a golf cart and were able to go lots of places. On site pool was very nice. The Beach club in playa de cocoa was lovely and had a wonderful restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owner was a great communicator and kept us dated and very well informed.

Great rental in Ocotal

This condo is ideal for up to four couples who wish the quiet comfort of Playa Ocotal. The complex has a nice pool just steps from your front door, with a small cafe where you can have breakfast or lunch. We were a short walk to the beach, which also has a restaurant for dinner and drinks. The water is mostly smooth as glass, though the last two days there was a surf for some reason. The condo is well-equipped and has A/C in every room.

Nice Beach house with great pool

Very very nice but no gaz barbecue. We had to ask for it and had to pay an extra for it. No electricity for one day so the gaz barbecue was very useful that day, try to boil water for coffee on a charcoal barbecue, it would take hours… Food is very expensive in Costa Rica, be prepared to pay two times the prices in Montreal and in USD.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay in Costa Rica. In response to your initial inquiry as to whether there was a “BBQ” (type was not specified), we responded that there was a community grill by the pool. After your disappointment and offer to rent a gas grill, our property managers searched, found one at a nominal price and delivered it to the villa. Although a large portion of the northern section of the Guanacaste province lost power due to high winds, many calls were made to the electric company by our property manager, and power was restored before dark. A very nice gift was provided for any inconvenience. Our hope is that you will return to Costa Rica and enjoy the beauty and wonder of this amazing country.

Amazing!!

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was not nearly long enough. We are looking to buy one of the units. There is not one thing I would change. A small condo complex just the right distance to town and restaurants. A beautiful beach that was not ever crowded. We bought ceviche from a vender on the beach. We hired the chef from the infinity pool club to cook for us one night which was beyond expectations. Love this place!!

Great choice

We stayed almost for month and it was great. Villa had everything we needed. Every room had AC, kitchen had all we need. Thank you to J$J and Eric (property manager) for helping us with crib for our baby. Eric was great, he replied every time really fast and gave us some recommendations as well. J$J (owners) were awesome. Communication with them was excellent. Beach was just 5 min walk from villa. Our baby (18months) enjoyed the beach so much. Beach was nice and clean. Great restaurant close by. Downtown was not too far, but you have to use car to get there. After all we were happy with our choice and we were nice relaxed.

Relaxing at Playa Ocotal

Vista Octotal met all of our needs for our stay in Playa Ocotal. The villa was clean and in a great location. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own air conditioner which is great. We took advantage of the dish washer and in-suite laundry but we couldn't figure out the microwave. The shared pool and outdoor bbq area were hardly busy which was nice. A quick walk brings you to Playa Ocotal which is a beautiful black sand beach with great snorkeling on the right hand side. Father Roosters restaurant is also right there which we took full advantage of. After spending some time in other beach areas, we were totally happy that we picked Vista Ocotal for our stay as it was our favourite beach by far. You really can't beat the location. One slight drawback is that they are working on a new development next door so if you plan to sit outside you may have to be prepared for some noise, and sometimes a weird sewer smell.

Perfect time of year to go if you prefer less tourists, yet desire nice weather.

Where do I begin to tell you about our amazing trip to Costa Rica and our stay at Vista Ocotal? First of all, the people of CR are very kind. Even though we did not speak Spanish, the local people understood us well enough to accommodate whatever we requested. The villa we stayed in was a five minute stroll to Playa de Ocotal (the beach) and Father Roosters, a beachfront hacienda where we enjoyed magnificent views of the Gulf of Papagayo and sunsets over the Pacific. You don't have to go any farther to enjoy snorkleing right off the coast. If scuba diving is your thing, there is a dive shop a short block away. You can also enjoy a massage while basking in the sun right on the beach! The time of year we went was perfect, too. There was little rain, mostly just in the evenings. The water temperature of the pools and ocean was perfect and there were few other tourists since it was just before their season began. The villa had 4 total bedrooms. Both upstairs bedrooms had Queen beds and Full Bathrooms. We really enjoyed having our own private space. We also enjoyed watching an evening thunderstorm from the balcony upstairs. The morning air is full of the sounds of the local birds, howler monkeys and squirrels. There are also two BR downstairs off the common area which share a large full bath. There is a breakfast bar that we enjoyed most of our stay at home meals at even though there is a dining table. We took no more than 15 steps out the main entrance and jumped into the pool! There is also a hot tub to relax in right there. Even though it is a gated community, there was a guard close by over night time. I felt very safe. Playa del Coco is only a short car ride (maybe 2 km) where you can choose from many fresh seafood restaurants and grills. Almost anything you will need for your stay can be purchased in Coco, too. The property manager's office is in Coco and they were happy to recommend and arrange excursions for us. We had an amazing time staying here and soaking up the CR culture and sun. I highly recommend this dwelling, especially if you have 4-8 people in your party.

clarifications of this property

This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom new condo in Vista Ocotal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. located about 200 meters from the beach, down a private, low traffic road safe for family pedestrian traffic. All beds are queen sized, with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, and two downstairs, perfect for two familys to share. On premises is a large pool, a spa pool and outdoor sheltered "ranchito" for cook-outs. This property grants you access to two modern beach clubs, one at Playa Ocotol, and one at Coco, nearby. A nearby (walking) restaurant, "Father Rooster" serves tables on the beach and generally has live entertainment and a bonfire nightly. Next door is Rocket frog, a scuba and water sports operation. Many more fun restaurants and shopping in nearby Coco Beach. A fun, safe place for your vacation.
