Hobbie Hideaway - eine entspannende Flucht für Paare und Familien

Unsere Wohnung verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss mit zwei geräumigen Terrassen mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Golf und die Lagune von jedem Zimmer. Wohnbereich verfügt über einen 42 Zoll HD / DVR-TV, Wireless High Speed Internet-Zugang, Königin Schlafsofa und 2 Liegen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und enthält auch einen Wäsche-Schrank mit Full-Size-Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Im Obergeschoss enthält das Schlafzimmer ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und eigenem Bad. Zweites Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzel Sleep Number Betten (können zusammen für König geschoben werden) und eigenem Bad. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen direkten Zugang zur überdachten Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Golf und Lagune. Jedes Zimmer ist mit einem 32-Zoll-TV und MP3-Dockingstation Radio / Wecker.

This was a perfect property for myself, my husband, my son and his son.

Easy to rent and check in and check out was simple. The beach was close and they weren’t crowded.

Great location, great place to stay!

We had a great time at the beach. Very short walk to beach or the lagoon. The condo is set up nice with everything you need. It was clean and everything worked as it should, no complaints at all and would definitely stay again.

Great stay at Hobbies Hideaway in Heron Landing

You cant beat the location of this place! The beach is an easy walk across the road, and is away from most of the large crowds so it is easy to find your own space. The lagoon access is also a nice feature. The kids like going there to search for crabs and whatever else is hanging out in the water. The condo was well stocked with most things we needed and it is an easy an drive to the grocery store for food and supplies. We would definitely stay here again! else is hangong

Great location

Very clean, easy to find, great location! Very little traffic which made getting across the street to the beach easy. Quiet and away from the crowds that were more towards The Hangout and Pink Pony but could be back to Gulf Shores Parkway within 5-7 minutes. We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lagoon as well! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to go to Gulf shores!!

Short walk to the beach, perfect little house.

Beautiful community. Beach access takes less than 2 minutes (and we have 2 small children). Great area to hang out. Love the open floor concept. Upstairs was great. It was nice having a bathroom in each bedroom PLUS a half bath downstairs. There’s an outdoor shower in the parking area. The complex pool was perfect. Docks for fishing were great. Our girls enjoyed the twin beds. My husband and I on the other hand had a terrible time with the mattress on the queen bed. I would highly recommend getting a different mattress. The doors to the balconies were hard to open as well. Fix the mattress and the doors and it’s a 5 star property for sure! Overall, we will absolutely be back!!

Great accommodations

We had a great week using this rental property. Very quick walk to the beach across the road (boardwalk is between two blue houses, not a pink one anymore as listed in the info). Has a few steps so be prepared for that when loading your beach wagon for your day at the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a few meals and we enjoyed sitting outside on days when it wasn’t rainy. The beds were our only complaint the entire week. They are sleep number blow up mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Another reviewer mentioned the Queen sheet needing to be replaced and I fully agree. It is very pilled and uncomfortable feeling. We flipped the sheets and it wasn’t as bad. Also, a few quick fixes need to be done to the place, such as replacing broken light switch plates but it really doesn’t ruin your stay- just probably time to do spend some money fixing these things. Would definitely rent here again as recommend to friends. Thank you!

Love, Love, Love this place!

We have stayed in the unit half a dozen times. We are from GA and bring Kayaks to enjoy in the morning in the harbor with a dip in the pool after...and then the beach for the day. It is always super clean and well set up for kitchen. We do not go out much and cook most days. Enjoy the quiet time in the Fall at the beach!!! Go to Rouses for local options for groceries.

Pleasant Experience

Great location with plenty of space. The dock was great for fishing and it was a short walk across the street to the beach. Very family friendly part of the beach with little to no traffic. All necessary kitchen and toiletry items were provided and appreciated. Would stay here again. There were a few shortcomings however with the biggest being the uncomfortable sleep number air mattress beds and the grill that is not operational due to old age and rust. We ended up using a neighbors grill so it wasn’t too much of a big deal. All in all we spent a week here and had a very pleasant experience.

Great little hideaway.

Everything on site was just as expected. Clean facilities, excellent beds, close to the beach. Kelly was super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions and went above and beyond as host. The overall property, Heron Landing, was clean and the neighbors were friendly. Beach access was close, and despite some frustrating weather, we enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to stay in the Gulf Shores.

Girls Trip

My friends and I rented this place for our yearly girls trip and it was great! The location was perfect, right across the street and we had a view of the water. Also close to the bay which was right behind us. Not too far to drive in and go to eat either. We all had plenty of room and was great having an upstairs and a downstairs for those of us that like to rise early. Will definitely be returning to this condo.

We enjoy this property because is quiet but still across from the ocean. We love the Lagoon for our son who is 13 and loves fishing. Everyone in this area was very friendly. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Great place and location

We enjoyed being able to walk easily to the beach and to bike to many places from the condo. The amenities included with it covered everything we needed while there. It is a great area to enjoy the outdoors.

Affordable and Cozy

We loved Hobbies Hideaway! Will definitely be returning next year! The condo was updated and got our family perfectly! The walk to the beach was way easier than expected and not on a busy part of the street! The host was also so easy to work with and super responsive. Loved all of it!

This area of the beach is less crowded and the property is just a few steps away from the beach on one side and the lagoon on the other. The complex is just 14 units, so it's not crowded. We love to relax on the deck swing in the evenings and our kids love to fish off the dock on the lagoon and play in the surf on the beach.
