Our family of five plus our dog stayed for a long weekend. No problems with WiFi, TV or A/C that were noted on some of the other reviews. Check in was easy and we appreciated that it was at 12! We rented a golf cart and had it delivered. Plenty of parking, the downstairs area was nice for organizing beach things and the shower was perfect. Fenced yard worked great for our pet. Kitchen was well labeled and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, towels and linens were provided. We enjoyed beach time, playing games and family time on the porch. This was a great rental for us - would definitely recommend!

Fun in the sun!

Cobb realtors did an amazing job of greeting us and tending to our needs. This house has it all. We spent the majority of our time on the beach or porch deck. Everything in the kitchen is labeled on where it is supposed to be. The beds are very comfortable2 1/2 baths are a plusLots of quality towelsAdvice-Rent a golf car..it will be easier going back and forth from the beach to the house.. Bring extra: paper towels,toilet paper, trash bags, dish and laundry pods. All these things are provided, but if you have a large family, you tend to use up a lot of supplies.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures and the living room TV quit working on the second day, other than that it was a good place. Very big patio and downstairs area for people to hang out and kids to play. It has a fenced in yard if you bring your dogs, and it’s only a few blocks walk to the beach. No access for a car but if you rent a golf cart there is beach access. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bathroom.

Well equipped and nicely decorated

Pros: Nicely decorated and comfortable home for a family stay. Nice outside space with a built in charcoal grill, plenty of grilling accessories as well. Kitchen was well equipped with anything you would need to cook multiple meals per day. Beds were comfortable, as well as couches. Things to be aware of: no beach access, however there is a nice golf cart crossing and pedestrian bridge about a 5 min walk. Cleaning was subpar on our visit, but I think that is hit or miss. There is a high pitched squealing noise that comes from the owners closet that is unable to be shut off. It is primarily heard in the half bath and occasionally in the living space. I only mention as this might be difficult for someone with sensory issues. Tips & Tricks: the doors are hurricane doors and require you to lift the handles to the full up position to lock from inside or with the key.

Spring break multi family getaway

Awesome!

Sunkissed cutie

The house is decorated very beachy and comfortable. It is laid out very well to accommodate 11 people we had in our party. Unfortunately at our stay we had two power outages that happened in the evening through the night. I’m not sure how often this happens, but it was extremely hot for sleeping. We decided to leave the second time and go to a hotel.

Our Beach House Experience

We really enjoyed this beach house. There were some cleanliness issues but nothing that was terrible in our eyes or held us back from enjoying the house. It would have been nice if the ice maker in the refrigerator worked. The beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay in this beach rental again.

Beautiful family home

We absolutely loved our time at Bolivar Peninsula! Our home away from home was gorgeous and has so many amenities. Games to keep the kids entertained, nice yard, and easily access to the beach with our ATV abs rented golf cart. The home was tidy, but the bed covering and couch could stand a deep clean. Overall, everything was nice.

Wish I could give it more

The house itself was fine. The decor, the location, the amenities were fine. The problem I had with the home was the level of cleanliness or lack there of. I checked in late due to working. When I walked in everything seemed fine until I starting turning over the beds. None of the bedding in any room was washed. There were hair, dead bugs and urine stains on the bedding (no exaggeration here). I contacted the Vacasa 800 text line and they told me I could buy supplies to wash the bedding for reimbursement. I ended up going to Family Dollar at 8p and stayed up until 2am washing the bedding. I picked up other items as well just in case I needed to wipe down the counters and good thing I did. While washing bedding I discovered trash that wasn’t taken out (an old water bottle left at the foot of the bed) old tooth paste on the counters from previous guests, soiled toilet that was not cleaned and pink and black mold in the showers. I did not buy bathroom supplies until the following day and spent the second day cleaning the shower and tub, mopping the floors and attempting to vacuum until I discovered that was broken. Since the vacuum was broken I reached out to the property manager, left voicemails and was never contacted back. I contacted the 800 number for Vacasa and spoke to a wonderful lady who also attempted to reach out to the property manager who again never called me back. All I wanted was a vacuum so I could clean before my guest arrived. After a full day of cleaning, buying supplies, and washing all the bedding I was done with making it comfortable to take a shower in. I am not exaggerating as I have pictures to it all, it was even as ridiculous as providing me an old mildew kitchen sponge to wash dishes with. My problem is not the home, my problem is the lack of cleanliness and response from anyone from Vacasa besides the lovely lady on the phone. For the cost per night, I do not think it was worth it. This is my first time to book with Vacasa and the management of this home is very poor.

Beautiful house

The property is very nice and clean with beautiful lighting and decor. Beds are all comfortable. The bunk room is great- all 4 beds have their own light and USB outlet. The wrap around deck is large with plenty of chairs. Nice sunset views on the back porch. The kitchen has all the utensils, dishes, glasses and appliances you need. Just FYI-This house is located at the back of the Sand Castle subdivision, the highway is directly behind the house (inside the house, it is quiet)and in front your view is of other houses (not ocean/beach). There were only 2 beach towels and no beach toys/chairs/mats etc. Rent a golf cart from Sandlot Beach Rentals-great service/price and makes beach access fun.

Great house

This house is very clean, updated, and sleeps a lot of people. It does not have beach access, so you have to walk several blocks, or rent a golf cart if you don’t want to drive your vehicle to the beach. The closest beach access road isn’t far, but you have to leave the neighborhood. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils, but there were minimal other supplies in the home-only 2 laundry pods, 3 dishwasher pods, 2 trash bags, and we had no paper towels upon arrival, so be sure to bring your own.

The home was great. Very well equipped. They could use a new cleaning service.

The property is nice. Great location. They need to hire a better cleaning service. Dishes were left in dishwasher, old coffee grounds and the floor was sticky.

Crystal beach

Property was amazingly clean and better than in pictures . Our stay was compromised due to poor weather conditions and we lost Internet for the entire stay . Could not go to the beach due to the rain and cranky teens with out Internet ! We did not stay long enough to experience the property while these external factors could be rectified . Property managers were prompt . It also seems to be a very safe neighborhood with close beach access !

Super family friendly!

Everything about this house was perfect! It really is equipped to be your home away from home and has everything you could possibly think of needing; even a waffle maker! We loved how cozy and beautifully decorated the house was. There was enough space for us to gather all together for dinner and then relax and watch tv together after the beach. The patio with its rocking chairs was superb at all hours of the day. The recommendation to rent a golf cart was the so fun because the bridge to get over to the beach is extremely close to be able to come and go as we pleased. The outdoor shower was also a hit to not get the house all dirty with sand. We would absolutely come back to relax!
