Welcome to Black Barn Ranch, a sleek & warm Scandinavian retreat <2 hours from NYC. This 3-bed, 2-bath sanctuary offers a seamless blend of modern design and comfort, flooded with natural light and mountain views. Enjoy the heated saltwater pool, indoor fireplace, clawfoot soaking tub, outdoor fire pit, record collection, board games, and as of May 2026 a Wellness Center including a Barrel Sauna, Cold Plunge and Gym!



The Space:

Black Ranch has a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an amenity filled fully fenced in backyard that is perfect for a family, group of friends, or small wellness retreat. Inside you have modern accommodations with soaring cathedral pine ceilings in the common rooms that are comfortable and spacious. Outside you will have seasonal access to our heated saltwater pool and coming May 2026, have access to your own private wellness center including a Barrel Sauna, Gym, and Cold Plunge. You can also choose to cozy up by the fireplace with provided firewood, or groove to your favorite tunes using smart speakers throughout the house, even in the shower.

➤ Is the kitchen fully stocked?

Yes! The kitchen is equipped with all cooking essentials including stainless steel appliances, baking sheets, knives, seasonings, and thoughtful extras.

➤ Is this home family and dog friendly?

Absolutely! Please request prior to booking for special accommodations. Due to allergies, unfortunately we cannot allow cats.

Guest Access:

Enjoy exclusive access to the entire house and its surrounding property. The backyard, featuring the pool area, is securely fenced with gated access. We happily welcome dogs weighing 40lbs or less, subject to owner approval, with an additional fee of $100 per dog.



Other Things to Note:

Pool Off Season: Please note that we aim to keep our pool open during the off-season as long as it remains economically feasible. The pool is heated using a heat pump that depends on the surrounding air temperature, both day and night. Therefore, even though the heater is set to 84 degrees, the actual water temperature will reflect the average ambient air temperature.

**After the high season, the pool will remain open at the owner's discretion, and they reserve the right to close it at any time.



Nestled at the road's end, our home adjoins the tranquil Sundown forest, ensuring a serene and undisturbed atmosphere. While a nearby convenience store is approximately 10 minutes away, please note their limited offerings. For a wider selection, we recommend a 25-minute drive to either the local supermarket in Stone Ridge or the gourmet market in downtown Accord. For late arrivals, we suggest stocking up on provisions en route to ensure a seamless start to your stay.
