Dieses Haus bietet Zugang zum Fluss und liegt nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Spielhallen, einer Seilbahn, Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants in der Innenstadt von Manitou Springs entfernt. Die Hütte selbst hat ein eigenes Deck direkt vor dem Essbereich und hat auch Zugang zum wunderschönen Fluss dahinter. Das gesamte Haus wurde mit einer neuen Küche alle neuen elektrischen, Fußböden und neuen Badezimmern umgebaut. Zum Kochen zu müde, kein Problem! Ein paar Blocks zu Fuß und Sie sind mitten in der Stadt mit allen Arten von Speisen und Getränken sowie großartigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einer Spielhalle.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right in town so didn't have to worry about parking and walked to coffee, shops, and dinner every night. Home had everything we were needing for the weekend. No complaints!

Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Remember to get something to put your leftovers in. Clean rooms. Couch could use an upgrade but love the size. No TV’s in bedroom, which would be nice. Easy to get to. Was a little odd to not have walls all the way to the ceiling in the bathrooms. Overall a great stay with off road parking and walking distance to all the shops. Close to pikes peak, caves and gardens of the gods!

This place is a mixed bag. Great location near the busy downtown. Good parking for two cars if one is kinda small. Weird combination of newly updated and "needs work". Bathroom had no towel bars. Kitchen was oddly stocked and not all that clean, no hot pads but a brand new dishwasher. Staircase to 2nd floor bedroom is steep and narrow.

Had to fix leaking drain fitting in kitchen sink. Also put the light fixture back in the refrigerator that was hanging out of place. Also the parking is terrible for a honda odyssey van . We had 2 places to park . One was impossible to get into and the other was super tight.

Loved the location of the place. Easy walk into Manitou Springs to do whatever you wanted to there. The creek behind the place was relaxing to sit by after a long day playing tourist and visiting family. The house was clean and provided some games that we took advantage of using in the evenings. The only bad thing which wasn't awful but if you have a larger vehicle it would be a tight squeeze getting in the parking spot under the carport. Would rent it again.

The cabin was cosy and clean. It is on the main road of Manitou so everything is very close. I would recommend for anyone to stay here.

Convenient to Town

Very nice location near town, comfortable and peaceful. Pictures of property in listing were accurate but we didn’t realize the master bath and laundry were not dedicated rooms - the dividing wall did not go to ceiling. Doing laundry early in morning was like doing it inside the MBR. (It is very similar to the loft bedroom pictured where the dividing wall stops short of the ceiling.)Additionally, we did have several cooking utensils that we found still dirty so we had to wash all dishes before cooking/eating breakfast.

Walk to town. No bathroom privacy

⸻Overall, it was a decent stay. The property was clean, in a good location, and made it easy to get to downtown. However, there were a few things we wish we had known beforehand.First, there was absolutely no privacy in the bathroom, which made things a bit uncomfortable. The bedroom had skylights—beautiful during the day, but not ideal if you’re hoping to sleep past sunrise. We were also surprised to find that there were two other units on the property. If you’re an early riser and don’t mind a lack of bathroom privacy, this could still be a good spot for you. But for light sleepers or those looking for a more private setup, this might not be the best fit.

Great location

We really enjoyed our time here and were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. The place was super clean, kitchen was fully stocked for cooking in, and the lighting from the skylights throughout the house were very nice. We would love to stay here again next time we're in Manitou! Just a couple of things that would have been helpful if explained in the listing better (but not negative, or has changed our review at all) is that the stairs to the bedroom with the two double beds were very steep and the stairs themselves were small. And 2, the listing does mention river access is shared, but doesn't describe that access to it is a very short walk behind the other two smaller cabins. Not a deal breaker, or an issue for us, but the listing could outline these two things better

Amazing Location

Perfect sized house for my wife, 4 boys and myself. The location was perfect within walking distance of the shopping and parks. The boys loved hanging out by the stream behind the house when we were at the house. Will definitely look to rent this house again when we return. Quick return communication from the property owners on questions during our stay. A location to everything Manitou Springs has to offer.

Great Place!

My husband and I stayed here while dog-sitting our son’s mini dachshund. We loved the peaceful setting with access to the stream in back. There is both a private fenced area for this cabin as well as a shared area to sit and relax by the stream. It is within a short walking distance to all the Manitou attractions. Inside is clean, recently renovated and comfortable. We would definitely rent again!

After Seth had retired from going to three Olympic games, we decided that we had more than sports and a love of fencing in common. Turns out, Seth and I have a passion for homes. We bought this home as a project to work on together after we had already completely remodeled another home. Turns out, remodeling a home and two cabins built in 1891 is a whole new level of difficult. But, we did it and this home is our labor of love!!We do hope you enjoy our recently finished product!

Both Seth and I LOVE Manitou Springs! Manitou is such a wonderful little town that really does a great job of providing fun activities and festivals year round. From Arts Festivals, to Marathons, to Coffin Races Manitou Springs is a happening place year round. What's more, we took one look at the creek and just how relaxing it was to sit and hear the sound of the water and enjoy the huge trees overhead while also being in the middle of town and we were all in!
