Randy and Karla Scholfield split their time between homes in New Mexico and Bucerias. We like to travel and experience new places, food and cultures. We've been travelling to Mexico for a number of years and really like the Puerto Vallarta area for its combination of tropical beauty, small beach towns and amenities such as nightlife and great restaurants.

We love the laid-back charm of Bucerias, a friendly and walkable town with colorful shops, cobblestone streets and great restaurants just a short drive from the PV airport. The town itself offers everything you need for a vacation, but it's also conveniently located for day trips up the coast to Punta Mita or Sayulita, water activities in the Bay, or shopping/nightlife excursions into Puerto Vallarta. The beach here is beautiful powdery sand that stretches for miles. What's not to love?

This is a comfortable, cheery and relaxing condo--you can feel the stress evaporate as you walk through the door. The condo style is Mexican/tropical, fun and colorful. The well-equipped, remodeled cook's kitchen (with new gas range) has a traditional feel with displayed pottery and folk art. The property is unusual in Bucerias in offering three roomy bedrooms, all with King beds. The upstairs primary is large and private and has an adjoining outdoor terrace with gas grill, coffee station and fridge and lounge furniture--a great place to have your morning coffee. The beach is a short walk and so is the main shopping area of Bucerias. This is a quiet, relaxed location in a small (4-unit) condo complex with nice pool.
