This well-appointed, comfortable townhouse is on a quiet block yet close to everything - 1.5 blocks from Eastern Market Metro station and Barracks Row restaurants, less than a mile (20 minute walk) to the U.S. Capitol Building.

The first floor has a sunny dining area with a large table and seating for 6. There is a full kitchen with every cooking implement or appliance you might need, including several ways to make a perfect cup of coffee. The living room has a cozy couch and armchair for relaxing and a 65” TV. French doors lead to the back patio and grill. The first floor also includes a half bath. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-sized bed, adjustable height desk, and en suite bathroom with double shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a also a full bath with tub and a washer and dryer closet on the second floor. The living room can be used as a sleeping space - a queen Aerobed with thick mattress pad is very comfortable, and the door to the living room closes for privacy.

This location is ideal for a D.C. visit - in the charming Capitol Hill neighborhood, close to Eastern Market and the year-round weekend farmer’s market, close to multiple parks and playgrounds, a pleasant walk or short metro ride to Smithsonian museums, the Botanic Gardens, and the Capitol Building. Within three blocks of Trader Joe’s, Yes Organic Market, Peregrine Espresso, Starbucks, and Dunkin. 1.1 mile to Nationals Park, 1.5 miles to Audi Field.

This is a family home, so comes with the comforts a rental property won’t have. It also comes with the expectation that renters will respect our space and belongings. We’re happy to work with those renting with us to make sure the space is set up for your needs. If you're traveling with kids, we can set out toys and games! Otherwise, we'll store those out of sight.

Your rental includes one visitor parking permit for on street parking for one vehicle if needed. Flying in? Eastern Market Metro is served by the Blue line that connects to DCA and the silver line that connects to IAD. Arriving on Amtrak OR MARC? The DC Circulator bus runs from Union Station to Barracks Row.
