Great location

Roomy enough for our family of 4 adults. Location was excellent - near many restaurants. The primary bedroom was big and plenty of room in the closet. The smaller bedroom closet was pretty full of things including extra bedding and beach stuff. The small porch with chairs was a good place to sit and enjoy the view of palm trees. Nice big common room with good layout, large TV, comfortable furniture and large table for eating. Large windows on 2 sides of common room. Wayne was very responsive to a couple simple things we needed like a light bulb.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our second stay here. The apartment was clean and well-managed, just as the last time. Everything we needed was there for us. Would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay

The property is an easy walk to numerous restaurants, shops and the beach. It was exactly as the photos show, with 2 nice bedrooms, a good size bathroom and a full kitchen. There were beach towels and chairs in the apartment closet, which was a nice touch. For anyone interested, there is a vendor renting beach umbrellas and chairs near the pier. Overall, staying there was a great experience! The property owner was quick to respond to a question on our first day, and the maintenance guy was very kind when he stopped by. The only problem we had was that we didn't plan to stay longer!

Location, Location, Location!

The location is excellent! Short walk to everything-beach, restaurants & shops. Spacious apartment. Living area & kitchen is bright & comfortable. Great wall of windows. Beach chairs and towels are in the apartment. Excellent communication with Wayne. Bedrooms are good size but a little dark & the beds & bedding are not the most comfortable, but were sufficient. The bathroom is large and has a very large jacuzzi tub/shower combination that has a high step into it. Good week there and served our needs for the week for the price and awesome location!

Couldn’t be in a better location! Across the street from beach, restaurants and shopping. No need for car rental. Apartment is spacious and well stocked. Manager very responsive to questions and requests.

Little pocket of paradise

The apartment is lovely and bright with views of the sea. Windows open to let in breeze and sound of the waves breaking. Fully equipped with cooking equipment, crockery , silverware and beach 'stuff'. Property is in an amazing location for the town itself and for the wider Ft Lauderdale facilities (we love ice hockey). The property is really well maintained (by Rob). Look forward to return visit next year.

Disappointing! Wont go back!

WORST VRBO EXPERIENCE EVER! It all started with the owner calling the night before we are to arrive - saying the unit was not available all week due to plumbing issues. But, he had an alternative lined up - but it was for more money. We learned from talking with the new owner - He was going to pay the difference. After talking with the new owner, (she was very reassuring and confident we would enjoy the property) - The original owner contacted us and said - plumbing issue will be fixed before we arrive. Weird!! This happened in a 2 hour window. So it didn't make sense. Don't know exactly what was going on - but I believe the owner had an opportunity to rent out his unit for more money or to someone else and ended up finding a place that he could rent for a lower fee (Properties at the last minute will reduce fees significantly to have it being used versus being empty) Can’t prove it.. Just my spidey senses going off! PROBLEMS with the Unit When we arrived at 11 pm - did not have a way to get into the property - called owner to get code - push button code - door worked but we had to try the code several times when unlocking - each day it was this way. No toilet paper - Not even a starter roll - when we arrived - of course wife and daughter needs to use bathroom
 off to the store to buy toilet paper and paper towels (after a thorough search in the unit for TP) TV didn't work NO WIFI Shower/ Tub poor / slow drain - when showering - water would be over ankles - it was disgusting. Next door bar owner / Power washed sidewalk at 4 am (for 2 hours) ugggh! Contacted Owner about TP, TV, WIFI - he called comcast and the next day - TV/Cable was working but still no WIFI - had to call again - 3rd day WIFI was working. He did offer to send over TP - told him we already bought some and we would leave extra when we left. Tub drain never was fixed - I guess the plumber didn't fix the alleged plumbing problem. Our last night - when we got back to the unit - my laptop was open and based on the history of the laptop - someone was trying to use my laptop - there were several tabs opened. I reached out to the owner the next morning and asked him to check his security tapes (he has cameras around the property) and there was no follow up from him. We didn't find anything missing but clearly someone was in our unit. We would never go back to this unit! Or any other unit by this property owner - it is overpriced for the quality of the unit.

Nice but small things take away overall excellence

The property nice and close to the beach.The automatic lock sticks but will open,it will continue to try and open after it is open until you manually throw the latch from inside.Annoying.Shower has miniature spiders living in it.For the most part the rest of the unit was good.The only problem is getting in and out of your parking spot takes time because of the traffic.Very windy while we stayed and the rattle of the storm shutters woke me up at least twice.

Condo located in good area...near bars and restaurants, one block from beach. Kitchen well-equipped. Needed a few minor maintenance updates...bathroom window needs to be frosted for privacy. Good sleeping space for our group.

Great location and comfortable space.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The location was great; within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The space was roomy and we could see the ocean from our room. The only problems were that the hurricane shutters were not fully open, and rattled all day and night with the high winds, and the parking space was difficult to get in and out of with the busy street. Not sure anything can be done about either issue; and we would still recommend staying here.

Great Location

This condo is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants, pier and shops. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of linens. The condo and building are nicely kept. Only issue is very limited parking.

The apartment is a quaint two bedroom in the heart of Lauderdale-by-the-sea. Bars, restaurants, the beach, and the pier are all within steps of the property. Had a great time and will return!

Great location and nice apartment

The location was spot on - right in the centre of things. Literally 60seconds to beach and the nearest restaurants and a few minutes on foot to nearest supermarket - everything you might need really close by. The apartment itself was nice, well equipped and actually surprisingly quiet inside given the location. Had some snacks and treats provided on arrival, plus a couple of beach chairs were there to be used. The place was very clean, and we had a tower of clean towels plus beach towels provided. Not much i would have changed really. Only small issue we had was having the arrival/access details ending up in spam email folder but this was instantly sorted once i contacted the owners. We're now back at home in subzero weather and wish I was still there!
