I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Bettina I was very sad to leave today. I have already booked for next year. The location could not be better so close to everything. The owner Wayne responded to the couple of questions I had within seconds. Rob the property manager is the most attentive kindest guy and makes sure the property is in top notch condition! They updated the patio furniture while I was there and it is so comfortable they put in a fountain, very peaceful. I completely enjoyed my stay!!Highly recommend!

A great spot for a nice stay in LBTS! Literally steps from restaurants and Commercial Blvd. We had a nice clean one bedroom apartment with kitchen (not that we cooked) and a great rain shower. Beds were very comfortable, 2 TV's with many channels. Owner was great, fast communication and fun to chat with. We'll be back!

The property is just as described. Close to the beach, shopping, eating. The unit was clean. The owner as well as Rob the on site manager were both pleasant and quick to respond to any needs we had. Zero complaints here.

The unit was perfect and fantastic location. Only issue I had is that the Burger place across the street blasts music all night long even when they are closed.

We love this place, great location, right in the heart of Lauderdale by the sea and across the street from beach! Host is very responsive to texts and requests and nice folks. Clean and has own parking space.

Another fab stay

This is our fifth time of staying at one of Wayne’s properties, everything was lovely, super to see Rob again , always happy to help us with any issues. Lauderdale by sea is a lovely place for a visit, lots of pubs and restaurants, beach lovely too

Omg, location perfect, clean, comfortable perfect. We met the owner he takes a lot of pride in his place. Rob the property manager is beyond curtious, he always is making sure everything is perfect. The property is also extremely well kept we stayed two months and definitely go back

Great Stay

Stayed in UNIT # 1. 200 steps to Lauderdale By The Sea Beach. Unit was clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. If anything was a problem (and it was small) is the parking spaces for your vehicle. Not much room between vehicles especially if you have a larger vehicle. Property was very clean and the location was great for getting to everything downtown in LBTS.

I rented this property to be walking distance from Lauderdale by the sea. It didn’t disappoint. You are literally steps away from the beach and some great dining. My daughter and I enjoyed spending our Xmas here. It’s the perfect size for 2 people. Spacious and inviting

All Needs Met

Cheryl was very responsive whenever I had a question. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival with all the comforts of home and the shower has a gentle waterfall rain shower head feature. 3 TVs - Living Room, Bedroom, and Bathroom. We only used the Living room and Bedroom TVs. Couldn't quite figure out why I only got one channel on the one in the bedroom. This 2nd floor apartment is just the right size for a couple and just steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The best restaurant we found was the Aruba Beach Cafe where we could people-watch and enjoy a great meal. the Bimini bread was amazing as well as the Mussels in wine sauce! 7-Six has great T-shirt prices and there is a jewelry shop just a few doors down (I think called Dolly's) that has amazing prices and a great Italian Bakery with delicious Gelato. We all took the Carrie B tour in Hollywood south of Ft. Lauderdale that was amazing. You may experience some loud party-goers late at night drift in the bedroom window since it is close to all the action, but that is to be expected. We only experienced this one evening though. The parking is tight so I would recommend a small rental vehicle. The parking space is essential if you are driving since there is no free street parking nearby. We parked and walked pretty much everywhere.

Not For Us

This property was not for us and is NOT a luxury suite! First, the location was extremely NOISY. We could not fall asleep at night, due to people screaming on the street or in the alleyway, car doors slamming shut, horns beeping, and music playing loudly from the cars that were stopped at the corner at the light. We were woken up by 6:30 AM from the cars and motorcycles idling at the corner, horns beeping, music playing and the garbage trucks in the alley right outside our apartment! Every morning and night! Not soundproof!!!! Secondly-the AC was a Nest, & the temperature never regulated properly. Either it was too hot or too cold. In one night, I could wake up sweating and then wake up freezing???? If we sat on the couch to watch TV, a blanket came on & off as the temperature changed on its own, without us touching the thermostat????? Thirdly-the owner Wayne did not respond quickly! My son came down on Friday and we went to the beach with 3 beach chairs. We only used 2 the first couple of days. (They were WORN & GROSS, but we put a towel on them). My son went to sit on the third one, and thank goodness my husband noticed that the frame was cracked!!! It cost us an additional $45.00 to rent a chair for my son for 3 days! I texted Wayne, but he did not get back to me until Monday (as my son was leaving to go to the airport)??? He told me I should have taken this little, low chair that was in the courtyard. Too late, & I would never remove anything from the property, without the owner's permission. Also, I texted him 2 other times with questions, & he was slow with his response. The only time he was quick, was when he took our payment! I am running low with my word count, so I will be brief-Only 1 mirror in the bathroom?? Only 3 Beach Towels-no extra???? Place was clean, but Kitchen was not a 10! Bathmat was clean, but stained-Gross! The bottom line is- We Literally Hated Being in the Apartment!!!!!!! We are not uppity, but this had to be the worst place we have stayed in in 27 years of being married!! Never again! The only 2 pluses were that the bed was comfortable and the apartment was close to the beach. Very, very DISAPPOINTED! Not worth the money we paid! And truthfully-we considered finding another place to stay!!! The only problem with that thought was that we didn't have the extra money to go somewhere else! We couldn't wait to go home. Pretty sad!!! We tried to be optimistic, but that got old too! Would not recommend!!!!!

Schöne Auszeit

Wir waren nach einer Kreuzfahrt noch 10 Tage dort. Die Lage war toll nur ein kurzer Weg zum Strand. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war, dass die Fester vom Schlafzimmer zur Straße gingen, dadurch war es ziemlich laut und wir waren diesen Lärm nicht gewohnt. Danke noch mal an Rob unseren netten Hausmeister der uns immer geholfen hat.

Fun place to go!
