In addition to the platform’s terms, a signed rental agreement is required to complete your reservation and will be sent after booking. Please note that failure to return the signed agreement may result in cancellation of your stay. Violations of agreement terms and house rules are subject to additional fines. Guest will be charged what is agreed to be nonpunitive amounts as follows:
>> Parties and events of any kind are strictly prohibited. Violations of this rule are subject to the following fees: $1,500 event fee, $300 trash removal fee, $500 refundable damage deposit.
>> No pets allowed. Unauthorized animals are subject to a $500 fee per animal.
>> $500 or portion thereof for every 4 hrs of unauthorized late checkout.
>> Max occupancy: 6. A $150/person/day, or portion thereof, fee applies for unauthorized guests not registered with the booking or exceeding the occupancy limit.
>> Smoking or vaping in the property is prohibited. A $500 fee applies for smoking and/or order removal due to smoke or otherwise.
>> The invoiced amount plus $100 (or $100/hr. or portion thereof for staff hours) for replacement of missing/moved items, damages not covered by damage waiver, stains, bedbug treatment, technical support, pay-per-view purchases, tampering with equipment (pool [a crime], pool alarm, air conditioning, smoke/fire detectors and extinguishers), failure to return keys/passes/fobs, failure to keep pool gates and doors secured, extra cleaning (including due to illness), and similar acts and omissions.
>> $500+ for plumbing misuse, including flushing anything other than toilet paper.
Code compliance with local noise ordinances is required. Quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM.

The actual unit was nice, clean, well decorated, and pleasant. However there were a couple of items that made it less than ideal. First, the unit is fairly far from the ocean, which isnt a big deal, however.... the only way to get there is UP a couple of very steep, older wooden sets up steps, roughly 30 steep steps, just to get to the next level of the complex. Then, there is a somewhat management walkway (again with steps) to the beach. No way at all to use a wagon, etc. The steps up the steep hill were an issue. Secondly the parking is rough. The "spots" are very small. We have a standard F150, nothing crazy, and it was too long for the very small parallel parking in front of unit. So much so that we couldn't use it because the unit in front of me also had a standard truck that won't fit. The visitor parking spots are at the opposite end of the development. Very frustrating and unusable for us. Disappointing stay for us.

We do understand your concerns regarding the parking and beach access. As the home is located within a resort community, certain aspects such as the parking space sizes and visitor parking availability (first come, first served) are managed by the resort/HOA and are unfortunately outside of our control.
Similarly, the wooden steps and beach access pathways are also maintained by the HOA, and we understand how this could be challenging, especially when transporting items to the beach.
We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps future guests better understand the layout and setting of the property. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

November in St Augustine
Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Beachfront Resort Getaway. The apartment's very clean, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, truly a home from home in a lovely community. The condo was in a good, central location, but did not have a beach view. Only a handful of the condos could actually see the beach. We had to walk up 29 stairs and then a few more to get to the beach but it was beautiful.
