Cheryl is an outstanding host and very generous too. She even made us homemade cookies and a delicious breakfast casserole. Her home is very well kept and supplied. I highly recommend this location for both restaurants and Notre Dame events

Our host did a great job communicating and provided multiple thoughtful extras. For example, knowing it was a sunny weekend and we were going to the ND football team, she had sunscreen for us. We felt we were staying at a bed & breakfast. If you are visiting Notre Dame or are otherwise in the South Bend region, I suggest this home.

Fantastic experience!

My family, friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clear ahead of our visit, we had warm cookies waiting for us, food in the fridge, super clean house, and it felt like home. I would stay again and highly recommend this place!

Great Place to Stay for a ND Event!

Stayed at Cheryl's place for the ND/Louisville game. The place is amazing! Super clean, roomy, great neighborhood, and a short drive to campus. There was even a goody bag waiting for us when we got there. The property contact, Theron, was wonderful. Highly recommend this awesome house if heading to ND for an event.

Wonderful host.. welcome basket and breakfast casserole for us. Games for kids. Lovely home with plenty of space indoors and out for the family. Perfect location for relaxing away from the gameday crowds but close enough for easy access to ND campus.

Great for an ND game weekend!

Cheryl was a great host- we had cookies, a casserole, plus a goodie basket left for us! Home was clean. We had a mishap and accidentally locked ourselves out and Cheryl was quick to respond and come unlock the door for us. Easy, quick drive to campus and lots of nearby places to eat and/or shop. Plus, on top of it all, ND crushed FSU!

Nice quiet property near Notre Dame

We enjoyed our stay at this property for a Notre Dame game weekend with our family. The location - maybe 10 minutes from Campus - was ideal in the sense that it was quiet (nice neighborhood) yet close enough to both Campus and some nice additions near campus (Heritage Square) to enjoy a number of different activities. Property wise, the interior of the house was clean and well maintained. Bedrooms were nice and we had ample bathrooms in the property for the family to use. Our only "gripe" was that it was not clear that there was not cable TV at the property (and only one television) - a first world problem indeed, but one that is more real when traveling with children. Additionally, the fan in the living room ceiling did not appear to be functional, which limited the light in this room. For a weekend getaway, however, the house was nice and worked well for us.

I realize many football fans want a "cable" game viewing option for the weekend, so I have upgraded my property to include a nice sports package for watching on football weekends. There are multiple TVs in the house, one with a game console setup for the kids. As for the lighting, I only wish the renter would have called me. I am very responsive to my guests and this solution was simply a flip of a switch.

Another South Bend WIN!!

Congrats Irish on Big (Snowy) Win over Boston College. We too had a big Win with this home for the game weekend. Located in a very nice neighborhood conveniently only 4 miles outside NOTRE DAME campus, our hosts were most accommodating allowing us an early access, fresh baked cookies, and breakfast casserole. I received immediate responses by text when I needed a question answered. We could not have asked for anything more. We had a great time, a very comfortable stay, and would without hesitation recommend these owners to anyone. WELL DONE!

Perfect Notre Dame Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Cheryl’s property for our Notre Dame weekend! The house was close to the stadium and an easy drive in for the tailgating/game experience. Not only was the proximity great, the house itself was perfect. Cheryl thought of everything and was so thoughtful with all her touches! She baked a casserole for the morning of the game and she also left drinks, a bottle of wine and additional snacks including s’mores supplies for the kids! She also included a fun rainbow glow kit for the fire, a pogo stick, cornhole and more! It was my dad’s dream to get to a ND game and we had such an amazing weekend with the help Of Cheryl’s house. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

UNC/Notre Dame Football

Owner was great. Kitchen, den, TV, etc. we’re great. Three bedrooms and one bath/shower upstairs was difficult. In the bunk bedroom upstairs the bottom double had a crappy mattress not suitable for an adult. We did not really enjoy the flannel sheets. Otherwise the house was fine and very convenient to the Notre Dame campus.

I'm sorry UNC lost and the weather was rainy and cold, hence the warm, flannel sheets. The mattresses on the bunk could have quickly been swapped along with the sheets with a simple phone call. I could have easily addressed all issues except the 2.5 baths (in the listing).

Awesome

Name me someone who will actually make a casserole for you to to have the next day. While the owner might have made it because we let her know we were heading to the game, if the owner did that for us, think how accommodating she really is. Also, home is beautiful in a very nice neighborhood. Will have to Uber to get to the game, but not far. Would book again without hesitation

ND-Virginia football weekend

Spacious, comfortable home worked well for 6 adults and 2 kids. Close to ND. Only hiccup was an area hide power outage but otherwise had a great week-end. Definitely would stay again and would highly recommend.

Terrific Home

The house was perfect for our stay in Indiana. The owner had such an eye for detail. We felt at home from the welcome note to all of the extra goodies the owner took time to leave. Great location to so many things like Notre Dame, shopping and dining. Would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Notre Dame weekend!

Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! This home was super comfortable and the owner was probably the most accommodating host I have ever worked with through VRBO. The neighborhood is quiet and very convenient to campus. Our trip was a little football/family reunion trip celebrating the life of our little brother who passed away last year. With our family together it really felt like home. Would recommend this property and hope to return again soon!!

Good place for small family gathering

I was looking for a place for my 2 brothers and 1 sister to stay for a brief family reunion and the 4 bedrooms worked for us. The house is in a nice neighborhood and was quiet. Owner was very accommodating. She allowed us early entry and even made room in the refrigerator for us. We would recommend this property.
