Welcome to Cozy River Lodge - this riverfront home sleeps up to 13 guests and features direct access to Glover River for fishing and kayaking! Our cabin also has an outdoor playground, ping pong table, foosball, Nintendo Switch and games.

Bright and newly built cabin (2023) is located right on the Glover River, on the edge of Broken Bow. It's roughly a 2.5 hours drive from Frisco, Plano and McKinney with much less traffic than Hochatown during weekends. Most of the restaurants and stores are a short 15-20 minutes drive. The location is very peaceful with lots of nature sounds during the day and night.

You will have access to the entire house! There is a locked owner’s closet located downstairs in one of the bedrooms. Please do not try to access it during your stay unless provided with a code. Free parking and on site Tesla charger, with enough space to bring your boats, kayaks, or ATVs.

You can go down the river by going around the house on the left. You have full access to the playground and the fire pit area. River access is public, so feel free to roam around. There is a nice spot to swim in the river on the right side towards the last house on the street. Please note that the levels of Glover River can fluctuate on a daily basis.

LOFT AREA AND 2ND FLOOR DECK:

Perfect for larger groups or families, our spacious sleeping loft is a cozy haven for kids and adults alike. It features two bunk beds, one trundle bed, and a sofa bed, comfortably accommodating up to 7 guests. The room includes a TV, foosball table, and a play area for board games, ensuring entertainment for everyone.

Loft guests also have convenient access to the second-floor terrace, where you can enjoy a game of bean bag toss, a dining table for six, or a yoga session, and lots of space for creativity to go wild. The half bath is conveniently located upstairs for the loft guests.

Kids and adults can have fun with our Nintendo Switch console, that can allow local play for up to 4 players on 1 TV with 2 games - Mariokart Deluxe 8 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate!

🌿 Outdoor Oasis:

You can access the lower deck from the living room on the main floor. Lower deck includes a dining table with 6 chairs, and a small sitting area for additional 4 guests. Additional amenities located on the lower deck include:

Down in the backyard, you will find a fire pit with comfortable and colorful Adirondack chairs, where you can make fires and make smores, or just enjoy the peaceful time by the river. The playground will keep kids of all ages entertained day and night by providing access to monkey bars, swings, net to throw balls in, cargo net, ninja sticks, dips bar, pull up bar, and even a short zip line. In the evening, there are outside lights that provide plenty of light for kids to continue to use up their energy for a good night sleep.

➠ LIABILITY NOTICE:
This property is privately owned. A security deposit and rental agreement are required for all guests as part of the booking process.

Located right off of State Highway 3, you will either need to make a right shortly after passing the Glover River if coming from the west, or make a left shortly after you pass 'North Pole Store' if coming from Hochatown.

➠ ACCESS:
The front door is equipped with an electronic smart lock keypad & a private entrance. A unique door code will be sent at least 48 hours prior to check-in.

➠ USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS:
Renters understand and accept that the property is protected with outside security cameras. These cameras are used to protect the property and our guests from potential break-ins and theft, We have 1 camera by the front door, 1 by the back door that are ON and recording 24/7. There are NO cameras inside the house.

➠ FIREPLACES:
Indoor and outdoor fireplaces are turned off during the summer months (May 1 - Sep 30).

➠ LIABILITY NOTICE:
This rental cabin is privately owned. A security deposit and renter agreement is required for guests who book Creek Life.

➠ CRITTERS:
We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in a rural area, please note that bugs may be present on the property.

➠ NATIVE PLANTS AND ANIMALS:
This cabin is located in a rural part of town. As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, dogs, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although, the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. We have installed an animal deterrent outside the deck to prevent them from coming close to the cabin, but cannot guarantee the possibility 100%. We appreciate your understanding!
