Lawrence is a very attentive host. He wants to make your stay as wonderful as it can be. His condo is well stocked with everything you could possibly need including all beach items! The photographs he has taken, displayed as art in his condo, are beautiful. We love “The Palms at Wailea”. This is our third time staying in this condominium complex (we have stayed twice before in other condos). The common areas are extremely well taken care of, the condos are very large, the pool is great, and the complex sits in a great location close to Wailea and the beaches.The VRBO map showing this condo’s location in the complex is not accurate. This needs to be corrected so the renter can see where the condo actually sits on the property.

It's true the pump went out on the AC and I offered to fix it while they were there but they said they were fine without it. It was repaired the day they left. You never know when the pump on the AC is gonna go out it's common that it happens when guests leave the sliding glass door open and run the AC at the same time so if you stay with me, please don't do that. Great spot

Great location between Kihei and Wailea if you have transportation. Free parking and no extra fees made it an easy choice to be mobile on Maui. Condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay like chair, beach towels and full kitchen. 2 full bathrooms make getting ready a breeze. We normally do hotels, but Lawrence made a transition to a condo super easy!

Loved our First trip to Maui

Lovely

What an enjoyable place to stay. Walk to the beach in minutes, go shopping or just stay in. This place has everything you need and more.

Great location

We have stayed in Wailea many times and the Palms location is great. The unit was comfortable and updated. The artwork throughout was great, really nice photography.

Originally from San Diego and now living in NYC for over 20 years, Maui has become my escape and second home. After staying at the Palms at Wailea several times as a guest, I fell in love with the property and eventually created the kind of space I personally always wanted to stay in — modern, comfortable, relaxing, and visually inspiring.

As a hairstylist and photographer in New York City, I’ve always had a passion for lighting, design, art, and creating beautiful environments. My photography throughout the condo is inspired by the work of Peter Lik and professionally produced using Fuji Flex Crystal Archive prints with gallery-style lighting on dimmers throughout the home.

Living in NYC has exposed me to contemporary hotel and interior design trends, and I wanted this Maui home to feel fresh, luxurious, and sophisticated while still embracing the natural beauty and peaceful feeling of the island.

I truly hope you enjoy my Maui home as much as I do.

After looking at many properties throughout Kihei and Wailea, I instantly fell in love with the Palms at Wailea. The architecture, tropical landscaping, elevated location, and peaceful atmosphere make it feel more like a luxury resort than a typical condo complex.

I especially loved how private and serene the property feels while still being just minutes from Wailea’s world-class beaches, restaurants, golf courses, and five-star resorts. Compared to many older properties nearby, the Palms felt timeless, upscale, and truly inspiring to me — and I feel very lucky to call it my Maui home.

What makes this property truly unique is its elevated location within the Palms at Wailea, giving it beautiful sunrise and sunset views along with views of Haleakalā, Molokini, Kahoʻolawe, and even Lanaʻi on clear days. The condo feels peaceful, private, and surrounded by tropical beauty while still being just minutes from Wailea’s beaches, restaurants, golf, and luxury resorts.

I designed the home to feel more like a contemporary luxury retreat than a typical vacation rental. The condo features full air conditioning throughout, Bose surround sound, designer lighting on dimmers, rich bamboo flooring, and original fine art photography that I created and gallery-mounted throughout the home.

One of my favorite things about Maui is how easy and relaxing life feels here. Even simple drives become memorable because of the incredible scenery everywhere you look.

Some experiences I always recommend to guests are:
• Sunrise at Haleakalā
• The Road to Hana
• Snorkeling at Ahihi-Kinau Reserve
• Big Beach & Little Beach
• Sunset walks along the Wailea Beach Path
• Visiting Paia Town and Mana Foods

Favorite restaurants include Monkeypod, Pita Paradise, Spago at the Four Seasons, and Nick’s Fishmarket at the Fairmont Kea Lani. Mama’s Fish House near Paia is one of the most famous restaurants in Hawaii and definitely worth experiencing. Nearby Ho‘okipa Beach is also incredible at sunset when the sea turtles come onto the beach for the evening.

I truly wanted this home to feel stylish, relaxing, and inspiring — a place where guests can experience the beauty of Maui in comfort and luxury.
