Welcome to Wateroaks Surprise – a premier Gulf Shores waterfront retreat! This four-bedroom, four-bathroom vacation rental, nestled on the tranquil north side of Little Lagoon, is conveniently located just two miles down Fort Morgan Road and only 3.4 miles from Gulf Shores Public Beach. Managed by Kaiser Vacation Rentals, this newly built home (2024) combines modern design and amenities for the ultimate escape, perfect for families, golf groups, and fishing trips alike.

With four spacious bedrooms, this home accommodates up to 12 guests and provides panoramic views of Little Lagoon from the open-concept living area and bedrooms. The upstairs living area features a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping arrangements. Enjoy direct water access from the private pier and boat dock for kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet skiing, plus easy proximity to Mo's Landing, the nearest boat launch for exploring further waters.

When it's time for some beach time, Gulf Shores Public Beach is close by, or you can venture to Mobile Street Public Beach for a more local vibe. After a day of exploring or golfing, unwind in the private pool, which can be heated for $58 per day, offering comfort no matter the season.

Inside, the home boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area for gathering, and an expansive deck with unobstructed lagoon views—perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. Wateroaks Surprise also welcomes monthly winter guests in December, January, and February, making it a cozy seasonal retreat.

We really enjoyed this property. It’s brand new, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We enjoyed having the heated pool, access to the dock and cooking on the Big Green Egg. Perfect house for a few families to share!

Nice location and comfortable beds. There are ants all over the pool area and someone left food out there before hand so we had to constantly wash away the ants. Other than that it was fine.

The home was clean, well maintained, and exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, our experience with the rental company (Kaiser) was disappointing. The required app for check-in and communication didn’t work properly and was essentially only useful for basic messaging. We requested (and planned to pay for) pool heat in advance, but arrived to a cold, dirty pool. The heat was later turned on and the pool cleaned, but we lost two days of use. A Big Green Egg is provided, but no charcoal—if this were a gas grill, would guests be expected to bring their own propane? The kitchen also lacked basics that are typically standard at similar price points: no extra kitchen trash bags, no coffee filters for the coffee maker, and no basic cleaning supplies for the stove/counters. A small starter set of dish soap and dishwasher pods was provided, but it was skimpy for a 7-night stay. There was no advance communication clarifying what was or wasn’t included or what supplies we’d need to bring. We also had mail sent to the property address while traveling, only to have it returned as undeliverable because the property has no mailbox—another avoidable inconvenience if disclosed up front. Responses from the company felt impersonal (generic emails from “Kaiser Vacations”), and I would not recommend booking with them.

We’re glad to hear you found the home clean, well maintained, and exactly as pictured, though we’re sorry your experience with our team did not meet expectations. Our guest app is a primary communication tool used successfully by guests, and we have not had a history of issues outside of this instance. We also consistently receive positive feedback on our daily communication and staff accessibility, though we regret that this was not your experience. Our team is always available and happy to assist in real time when needed. Regarding the pool heat, it must be requested in advance so it can be scheduled and prepared prior to arrival. Unfortunately, we did not receive that request within the required timeframe. Once notified, our team worked quickly to have the pool cleaned and the heat activated. We’d also like to clarify that natural lump charcoal is provided for the Big Green Egg. We would have promptly corrected that had we been made aware. As outlined in our pre-arrival communication, we provide a complimentary starter set of supplies, including trash bags and basic kitchen items. For longer stays, guests are expected to replenish additional items as needed. Coffee filters and cleaning supplies are not provided. We do regret the inconvenience regarding mail delivery. As a vacation rental, the home does not have a designated mailbox for guest use issued by the local Postmaster. Thank you again for your feedback; it helps us continue to improve.

Beautiful home

The home was absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable beds and furniture. Only frustration was the communication between the rental company about the pool. Before booking this home we asked if we could wait to turn the heat onto the pool until we got there, we were told yes absolutely no problem. We get there and the pool was at 64.5 degrees and the rental company would not turn it up reporting we needed to give them 48 hours prior to arriving. There is nothing in the listing or around the home that states that information. So if you want a warm pool make sure you ask 48 hours before you arrive.

Pool heating is offered as an optional amenity at the time of booking, and a reminder email is automatically sent 7 days prior to arrival. The email reads: “Please note the home you have reserved for your upcoming vacation in Gulf Shores, has optional pool heating available. The cost is $58.00 plus tax per night. If you would like to add this amenity to your reservation, please email or call our office no less than 48 hours before your arrival. Please disregard this reminder if you have already requested the pool heat service.” We’re sorry there was any misunderstanding, especially after being advised ahead of time that notice would still be required. The 48-hour advance notice ensures we can properly prepare the system and have the pool at the desired temperature upon your arrival. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy you enjoyed the home. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
