● Location: Jamaica Beach community of Galveston, Texas

● Beach access: The home is less than a minute walk from the community beach access point! Cars and golf carts are also allowed to park on the beach.

● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day - $5 per person) and city park.

● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: There is room for 4 cars in the driveway.

The Paunchy Pelican offers a relaxed beach vibe with plenty of space for families or groups. Step inside and discover a comfortable living area with an open floor plan. Whip up meals in the well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating, while others gather around the large dining table. After a full day of fun, unwind in the living room and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV – all while enjoying calming ocean views.

Sleeping arrangements are flexible, catering to groups of various sizes. One room features a king-size bed, another a queen, and a third offers a full-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle for additional sleeping space. The fourth room is a haven for kids or larger groups, with two sets of triple twin bunks, offering a total of 6 twin beds. Two full bathrooms keep mornings running smoothly in this home.

Head outside and breathe in the fresh air on the spacious front porch, where stunning Gulf views greet you. After a day of beach adventures, unwind in the downstairs screen room. This covered space is perfect for shared meals, board games, or simply relaxing with loved ones while enjoying the coastal breeze.

● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- This community only allows BLACK TRASH BAGS. We provide trash bags under the kitchen sink. Please refrain from using white bags.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
