This 2-bedroom condo is perfect for your escape to beautiful La Paz. With 2 king beds and 3 bathrooms, our condo offers AC, high-speed internet, a large screen TV, DVD player, and a laundry.
Your entire family can relax in the stunning views from the east-facing balconies, cook together in the well-appointed kitchen or head down to the beach and pools for wet fun ... or stay dry on one of the sport courts.
The resort boasts adult and kid pools, and a restaurant-pool bar with a menu that includes both snacks and meals ... and margaritas, of course. There are bikes and paddleboards (no charge), tennis, pickleball and volleyball courts, and a horseshoe pitch. For the duffers, there is The Golf Club at El Mogote, 18 holes of fun with an on-site restaurant.
Our condo is set up with kids in mind (young or old), with floats and water blasters, beach chairs, lots of towels ... and even a small cooler to take a picnic lunch to the beach. There are puzzles and games to keep the kids busy indoors when you need to get them out of the sun.
Paraiso del Mar and the entire El Mogote peninsula offers a very safe environment for experiencing the Sea of Cortez. Kids will love investigating the small critters in the near-shore, and there's decent snorkeling right off the beach. Whale sharks occasionally come close enough to the shore to be spotted without binoculars. Of course, great tours can be booked to the marine sanctuary of El Spiritu or to off-shore swimming with the whale sharks.
Getting to and from La Paz's fabled Malecon is by private boat launch, ensuring that your vacation can include urban fun, with groceries, restaurant and pharmacies just minutes away. The town is very walkable, even beyond the Malecon. La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur, so the town is much less tourist-focused than the more famous San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The Mexican vibe is what makes us love it.
Kids of all ages are fine, but please inquire about bringing your pet. As a courtesy to our community, we limit dogs to under 60 pounds and ask for a health certificate.
