Welcome to the Oakley Mountain Lodge in beautiful Oakley, Utah. The 6,000 sq ft lodge is perched on 20 secluded acres in the Uintah mountains and has 6 private bedrooms including a kids bunk room, loft sleeping spaces and can sleep a total of 34 people. The lodge also has 6 full baths with tubs and showers and a half bath.

This is the perfect space for those wanting to enjoy nature, gather a large group, or have room to spread out with your own family or friends! This is not your typical cabin you see from the road, in fact you would never even know where the Lodge is unless you were given directions. The awe-inspiring expansive mountain views over the Weber Canyon valley provide relaxation and a special connection with nature.

Oakley is a small town about 15 miles from Park City and is the gateway to the Unita National Forest and the Weber River Canyon. The Oakley Mountain Lodge is 19 miles from the town of Oakley up a beautiful road that winds through the Canyon alongside the majestic Weber River. In most seasons access to the lodge can be with any type of vehicle. During wet or rainy times, we recommend 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles. In the winter, you will be guided to the lodge on snowmobiles or warm and cozy fully enclosed 5 passenger ATV’s. This is an experience in and of itself as we change our ATV tires over to snow tracks in the winter time and you will be gliding through powder on your way to the Lodge while enjoying the winding Weber River that runs year-round and the surrounding evergreens packed with snow.

We employ a full-time on-site property manager that lives in a smaller cabin on the 20-acre property. He will be available to assist in any ways needed including getting gear or machines ready for your adventures, picking up groceries, and giving suggestions for activities in the area. You can think of him as your own private concierge who is there to ensure your stay is one to remember!

The property is adjacent to beautiful hiking, biking, snowshoeing and lake adventures and we maintain excellent quality equipment at the lodge for your enjoyment. Use of this equipment is free of charge. Our almost ½ mile winding mountain road that leads up to the Lodge doubles as the best sledding hill you will ever experience. Using the snow machines to carry everyone back up the sled hill makes this our most popular snow activity at the lodge, both for kids and adults. And of course, we provide a range of new sleds.

Enjoying the outdoors is what Oakley Mountain Lodge is all about! We have outdoor eating/seating for 42, a firepit area that seats 14, multiple hanging hammocks around the Lodge and in the forest, a hot tub that seats 9, and a sauna and cold plunge. And an outdoor movie theater on the expansive wraparound deck. Our private fishing pond is also steps away from the Lodge and fully stocked with fish and a full range of fishing equipment is available for use. If you are looking for world class amenities, but still the seclusion of nature, this is the place! And if that’s not enough, Smith & Morehouse reservoir is 10 miles away with their famous rope swing, fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding. We keep kayaks, paddleboards and other outdoor equipment at our storage unit close to the reservoir for your use.

On our expansive wraparound deck you will find multiple relaxing seating areas as well as a large BBQ and a huge Blackstone griddle.

Park City Powder Cats is 7 miles from the Lodge and offers world class back-country skiing on 15,000 acres with 2,000 vertical feet and transports you to the terrain via Snow Cats. Also 7 miles from the Lodge is Park City Peaks which offers guided snowmobile tours in the Uintah Mountain Range and is the highest rated snowmobile tour in the Park City/Oakley area and largest, with over 60,000 acres!

But if you have some in your group that just want to relax indoors, Oakley Mountain Lodge can satisfy them as well. We have 4 seating areas for lounging, 3 fireplaces, excellent TV and audio equipment, arcade games, pool table, video games, board games…and the list goes on! We have indoor eating seating for 29, a gorgeous kitchen with just about every small appliance, two refrigerators and a commercial ice machine. There are 3 different TV sitting areas and TV’s in each bedroom as well as a fully equipped gym with an elliptical trainer, Peleton and other equipment. The lodge is equipped with high speed internet so connecting for work, etc. (working not recommended!) is possible. As is access to all your favorite streaming services.

Shopping and restaurants are available in Oakley and a broader range just 5 miles from Oakley down the road in the town of Kamas also. And of course, a full range of restaurants, shopping and world class skiing in Park City.
