Welcome to the quintessential mid-century experience called PS Maison Citron. A sunny Palm Springs desert retreat, remodeled and reimagined with the nostalgia of Palm Springs' historic charm and sleek modern features and amenities. Offing 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suites, this is a great gathering spot and getaway for family and friends. The home is just a few blocks away from Demuth Park which is great for families, dog walks or active guests seeking easy access to pickleball courts.
The circular drive (with access to a one-car covered carport) offers ample parking for (up to) 3 cars. Entering the home, you'll notice the bright, sun-filled common areas are beautifully appointed. The charming open floor plan allows guests in the kitchen not to miss any action with the living room just steps away and both the kitchen and living room feature great views of the pool, yard and mountain views.
You'll also notice great bedroom separation. The primary bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom (step-in shower) is immediately to your left. This bedroom offers a king bed, TV and, through the bathroom, access to the back yard and pool. The other bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house. Down that hallway, the first guest room features a queen bed and sliding doors to the yard and pool with it's hallway/guest bathroom and step-in shower just steps away. At the end of the hallway, is the second, or junior, suite with it's own en-suite (step-in shower) bathroom, king bed, TV and sliding door access to the back yard and pool.
Ready for the backyard? Sliders off the main living area and all the guest bedroom doors lead to a beautifully open back yard. A sparkling pool with tanning shelf and built-in spa is the center of attention. Guests will also enjoy poolside dining, a grill and multiple seating areas along the back of the house. Chaise lounges are ready for your envy-inducing sun tanning.
Demuth Park is a premier neighborhood in Palm Springs it's Pickleball Courts. On the South end of town, and wind-free, it is adjacent to Deepwell, Twin Palms and Little Beverly hills; this neighborhood is rich with architecture and Hollywood history. It should be noted this neighborhood (and the City, too) has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner likes to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day.
- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request an picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $59/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.
- Where pet(s) are accepted, this is dog(s) only and we cannot host any other kind of animals in our home.
