Welcome to the Academy House in Cincinnati! This cul-de-sac home is close to everything and features a peaceful outdoor space - a rarity in the city. This lovingly renovated urban 1900 home is full of charm. There is so much to do in Cincinnati, and guests will get our guidebook of the absolute best things to do, see, eat, and drink in our city!

Our 4 bedroom, 2 full bath home has all King beds. Each room is themed with an area of academic study- pick your favorite subject!

The coffee and tea station is fully stocked with drip coffee maker, Keurig machine, French press, and electric kettle. Coffee and teas are provided.

House rules:
- No smoking or vaping inside the home. Any cigarette smoke or marijuana smell in the home upon checkout will result in a $500 fee.
- No parties - parties will not be tolerated by our neighbors
- Quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am
- Guests must adhere to pet rules as detailed below
- Children must be supervised at all times
- Wi-Fi must stay always plugged in, because the interior climate controls require Wi-Fi to function.

Pet rules and conditions:
- No more than 2 dogs under 50 lbs each
- Pets must be registered on the reservation request at the time of booking
- Pet fee of $50 per stay
- Pick up and dispose of pet waste in the outdoor trash cans. Thank you for helping us keep our space sanitary and prevent the spread of disease between guest pets. Failure to pick up pet waste prior to checkout will result in a $150 fee.
- Don’t leave animals unsupervised
- Pets must be housebroken
- Pets must be crated if left unattended indoors
- Excessive pet hair or cleaning required may result in an additional $100 cleaning fee
- Dogs are not to be left outside unattended
- Excessive barking outdoors is not permitted.
- There are three exit gates in the back yard. Guests are responsible for ensuring all gates are closed prior to allowing dogs off leash.
- By accepting this booking, the guest releases the owner of all responsibility for off leash pets.

- Literature Room featuring seating area for two and books for use during your stay.
- Art room with custom ceiling wall mural and a cozy seating area for one.
- Science room with constellation ceiling mural and themed artwork.

A few notes:
- The following areas of the home are used for owner storage and are not accessible to guests: living room closet, Music bedroom closet, basement, and backyard shed.
- Allergen alert - While we do our best to thoroughly clean between guests, this home is dog-friendly and may not be appropriate for guests with pet allergies.
- Children should be supervised at all times with particular care around the staircases.

Other items to Note:
- Free parking is available on the street.
- There are steps up to the house from the street, and the home has three stories. This is an older home with lots of steps, which unfortunately makes access difficult for anyone with mobiity issues.
- The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
- The bathrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors.
- The Music and Literature bedrooms have a door between them that can be locked from either side or left open. Perfect for families with kids!
- The Art Bedroom is open to the stairs, and guests staying in the Science Bedroom must pass through the Art Bedroom to go downstairs.
- Ceilings in the 3rd floor bedrooms (Art and Science) are sloped, so please mind your head when navigating the space.
- There is one motion-sensor flood light and camera located at the front entrance of the home. There is one security camera at the back door of the home.
