Solindo was born out of the need for rest and rejuvenation away from the busyness of everyday life. The founders, lifelong best friends Georges, Paul, and Christian embarked on a journey to Marbella where they discovered Paradise. As entrepreneurs and world travelers, their lives are no short of busy. Yet the culture, community, and secrets of the Blue Zone showed them a new way of living. At Solindo, guests are encouraged to embrace experiences and learn lessons that will allow you to live a more robust, fulfilling life, every day.

The founders journey began with a vision to create a retreat center offering the soulful escape that left them in love with Marbella. Georges and Paul share the dream of giving back to the community which taught them the ways of Blue Zone living. Georges is dedicated to building a trade school and accommodation center in the heart of Marbella to give back to the community and provide quality education not currently available in Guanacaste for local Costa Ricans. Reaching beyond, Georges, Paul and Christian focus on protecting the endangered species of native plants and animals in Guanacaste by giving back through their projects. Together, their dream is to uplift the community and provide the means for a more sustainable future while offering a transformative experience and soulful escape at Solindo.
