This was the perfect cabin for our family of 4 and two small dogs. Lots of wildlife around the cabin as well as a walking trail. The cabin was also centralized to everything we wanted to do around Hocking Hills. Definitely staying here again!

Lovely stay in nice cabin with unbeatable customer service

My third stay here this year and I don’t even know how many times over the past 10+years. The cabin is comfortable and has everything we need for a stress free stay. The cabin has everything I need to make a nice meal, skillets, pots and pans etc. Our personal favorite is relaxing on the patio swing in the morning with coffee or when darkness falls with our favorite beverage listening to the night sounds. Centrally located to hiking trails makes getting to trail heads quick and easy. However, what makes this place different from other rentals is the customer service. For example when we couldn’t start the grill, I simply sent a quick message and within the hour we had another grill on the porch. Andrea even contacted us mid week to see if we needed a fresh supply of towels! You just don’t get access to this type of service in any other rental! I will continue to make Cedar Grove my first choice at Hocking.

As always, our stay was quiet, peaceful, and restorative

We have been staying in this same cabin at Cedar Grove for quiet, recharging getaways for well over 10 years, and it feels like a second home to us. The cabins are always clean and welcoming, and a perfect place to step away from the world for a time of rest and reconnection with each other and with nature. Our dog loves the large field behind this cabin, and the trails through the woods are well-marked and perfect for an easy and relaxing walk. We never even consider staying anywhere else when we have a chance to get away. Why risk it when we always know we have a sure thing here?

Perfect Family Getaway

We stayed at the Oldfield Cabin in Cedar Grove for Thanksgiving on a family trip, and it was outstanding. The cabin was spotless, fully equipped with everything needed to cook, and the beds were brand-new and extremely comfortable. The satellite TV had every channel we could want, plus a Smart TV for streaming. The pellet furnace kept the cabin perfectly warm during snowy days. The location is excellent, the hot tub was a highlight, and the new gas grill was a great bonus. Check-in and check-out were both easy. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be returning.

We cannot give this property and our experience enough stars! The cabin was impeccable and was even better than we were expecting. The grounds were private but still close to everything that we wanted to do. We will definitely be coming back!
