Thank you for taking time to review the villa we are sorry and disappointed that the villa did not meet your expectations. Regarding the above furnishings we did have new cushions mixed in with older ones. As the villa has been fully booked this year the old furnishings have obviously taken more wear and tear . We will remove these. The loungers are only two years old . So these have been damage this year. We have not receive any other complaints during this season this year. We will look into this on our visit on Nov /23. The mid week clean and bedlinen change is offered at a small extra cost. The management team should left information at the villa and mention this during the meet and greet . We will follow this up when we have a yearly review. In addition there is a washing facilitates in the villa. The bathroom smell should have been reported to the management team , who would have taken appropriate action to resolve the problem. Dear Sue, Thank you for taking time to compete a review. We are sorry you were not totally happy with aspects of the villa and the surrounding areas. We also thank you for discussing these with us over the phone following your visit so we can improve on things for the future. We are disappointed to hear that the décor was not up to your expectations. We have many photos on Vrbo to help portray the interior for interested guests. The condition of the furniture is kept to a high standard and we deep clean and vanish the wood work to keep it looking as new as possible. Regarding the bathroom facilities we have clearly shown in the advert and the photos that there is one main bathroom upstairs (with toilet, shower and bath tub) and a secondary bathroom downstairs (with toilet and shower) The smells you mention will likely be from the lavender pouch which we place in the cupboards to ward off insects and moths. We do replace these every year. Thank you for your suggestion to steam clean the bathroom tiles. We do clean these from floor to the ceiling every year at the start of the season with specific tile cleaner. We have also discussed this with our cleaners and they report the tiles are in a clean state, following your stay. In relation to the toilet waste bags the villa managers report the original bags had not been used . We already provide additional bags which were in the kitchen drawer. Essential start up pack ie hand wash, toilet rolls x2, washing up liquid, dishwasher tables and floor detergent. As this is a self catered villa we do not provide for the whole duration of guest stay as this would involve increasing prices, which have not increased in the last 10 years. We are able to provide guest who require additional items at additional cost. We apologise about the condition of the refuge bin area during your stay. Unfortunately the council had not collected as usual and this led to an excess build-up. Combined with the windy weather at the time this would have been an undesirable combination, we are sorry this was the case during your stay. We have followed this issue up with the council and have been reassured that the collection has now been completed. Of which I sent you a photo of .Cyprus is now changing the system of collection of household rubbish. And will provide individual bins to each villa. Certain areas have already started this process I understand. In relation to the issue of fresh food, I agree for this you would need to take a short drive or the regular bus to the larger shops which are 10 minutes away i.e. metro supermarket/ lidle or local food shops along the way. We do have details in the villa folder providing information regarding the location of these shops. Regarding the beach’s not providing café s where you can purchase food I am not sure which beaches you had this experience at, but our local beach situated 700 meters has restaurants i.e. Golden coast hotel, Limani restaurant, Kalamie restaurant providing food options. We were always available via email whatsapp and by phone to help try and make your holiday as smooth as possible. Hi Martin and family, we really appreciate you taking time in giving us a review. This not only helps us to improve the villa for future guest but also helps in keeping up with the maintenance issues straight away . As we are based in England we are reliant on management company to inform us of problems which arise, but during busy periods they can only react on problems reported as they have limited time to clean the villa before the next guests. We have forwarded your comments to the management company and asked for the decking and the locks to be fixed before the next guests. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the villa, I agree with you that Pinnas restaurant food is very tasty. My son when he graduated from his course took his peers to stay at the villa and they also went to this restaurant and really all enjoyed the food and service. We hope you will consider staying again in the villa when you are next visiting Cyprus again. Thank you Rashmita
