This southern facing, spacious townhome is conveniently located walking distance from the bus stop and amenities at Red Mountain Park. Around the corner is Crested Butte South’s business district providing Camp Four Coffee, Tully’s pizza, The Wooden Spoon and cold beer at Zuni’s West Brewery. Single car garage and proximity to the bus and Cement creek trails, allow guests to park the car and have access to some of the best summer and winter recreation in the Gunnison Valley. Fourth of July? Big snowfall dump? Heading to Crested Butte Mountain Resort? Apres ski/bike session? No problem, save the hassle of driving to the mountain and parking in CB, while you sip coffee or share your favorite run on the bus.
Your Space
This recently remodeled 1500 sq ft. townhome provides flexible design with vaulted ceilings, dramatic windows and skylights to add a spacious feel. This open floor plan combines the dining room, living room and kitchen to create a comfortable and cozy place to gather. Smart TV, Free Wifi, and plenty of working spaces.
3 bedrooms, 2 baths, office nook, single garage for your car, ski’s or bikes, washer/drier, large outdoor deck and yard for grilling or throwing Fido the ball. Nice light from the south provides passive solar and in-floor heat helps keep your toes warm in the winter.
Bedrooms/Bathrooms/ Sleeps 6
There are two bedrooms upstairs: one master suite with a King Bed and corner office space, and another twin room with large east facing windows. A large double vanity bathroom with walk-in shower separate the two rooms and allow amble living space. Bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and other amenities. Towels, makeup cloths and hair dryers are also provided.
Main floor includes one queen size bedroom which also enjoys the eastern morning light and mountain views. Adjacent full bath provides single floor living opportunity for guests that may require accessibility. All beds are new luxury mattresses.
Kitchen
Ready to have a chef off? Large kitchen with center island, appliances, pots, pans, cookie trays and plenty of storage. Dishwasher, microwave, gas oven, large fridge.
Friendly kitchen to stay at home and cook or grill on the patio.
Yard
Mature trees and gardens provide privacy and summer shade. Open space is ample with mountain views in all directions. A nice lawn for your kids or fury friends. Home is surrounded by gardens and large deck with gas grill off the kitchen. There's room to wash off bikes and safe storage inback garden shed or garage. Plenty of room to rest and relax with family and friends.
Guest Access
Convenient self check in using Electronic Digital Entry Door Smartlock. Guests have access to the house, yard, deck, office, washer/dryer, garden shed and garage. Each room has a full open closet system with shelving.
Minimum two night stay.
Winter conditions may exist. AWD/4WD are recommended for Crested Butte. We are on a regular plow and shoveling contract. Shovels are provided if you want to play in the snow before our maintenance team arrives. Two parking spaces and single car garage.

Bus stop is a 5 minute walk downhill, but return is a 10 minute walk as you have to climb a short, steep hill.
Dog Welcome upon request
We love dogs, but please be a good owner so we can continue to share with the four legged friends. One dog is permitted with owner approval. Please wipe paws as needed, protect furniture and don't leave them unattended. We ask that you bring them with you when not at the townhome. Crate, leash and animal towel will be provided. Good dog Fido!
Mountain Sun Townhome is 23 miles from the Gunnison Airport. 10 minutes from town of Crested Butte, and 17 minutes from Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Gunnison RTA Bus is a 5 min walk. Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, restaurants, coffee and breweries are all walking distance.
Trash
Please place the trash can out at the end of the driveway. Trash day will be posted on the refrigerator next to wifi code. We live in bear country, so the can must be placed out the morning as not to attract wildlife. If your stay overlaps trash pickup, please put the roller can back in the garage that afternoon. Thank you! Let us know if you need outside assistance with this.
Upon Checkout
Please load your dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle. Text 970-275-1020 upon leaving or message Via VRBO so we can clean for the next party.
