Why a wonderful space!! Located in beautiful downtown Dexter and only a few minutes to Ann Arbor. The home was well stocked with water, coffee, snacks, and all of the homey touches that made us feel comfortable on our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay was 5 star in every aspect. James was an amazing host, so accommodating and communicated with us the whole stay. The home was well stocked with everything from toothpaste, to soap, to coffee, etc. The location was perfect as we were there for the Holiday Hustle half marathon. We were within walking distance to the start/finish line. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Dexter!

If you are looking for a great little house to stay during your visit to Dexter, Mi. Look no further, I booked this house for my daughter and my granddaughters. The location is around the corner from downtown and the Dairy Queen. The kids were here from Memphis, Tn. They were allowed to visit the DQ at night without their mom because of the safe location. The interior is very inviting and comfortable. The owner added 2 single beds to the loft to accommodate. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware as well as a full-size washer and dryer which is located in a very large bathroom. You will be glad you stayed here.

It’s great to hear the loft setup worked well for your group and that the kitchen and washer/dryer made things convenient during the visit. One of our favorite things about the house is exactly what you mentioned—the location. Being so close to downtown Dexter makes it easy to enjoy a quick walk for ice cream at Dairy Queen or explore the local shops and restaurants. Guests also love that the home is just steps from the Border-to-Border Trail, which is perfect for a stroll, bike ride, or enjoying the outdoors. And of course, the close proximity to Ann Arbor makes it easy to take in everything that area has to offer as well. We truly appreciate you choosing our home for your family’s visit and hope we have the chance to host you again in the future!

Perfect Little Getaway

James's home was the perfect little getaway for me, my husband, and our dog. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed being so close to downtown Dexter. There are pubs, shops, a bakery, and general stores within a 5-minute walk. James was an extremely thoughtful host and there were so many amenities to choose from. The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We would highly recommend James as a host and will definitely be back!

This was probably the mostly thoughtfully stocked house I've stayed in and we've stayed at a lot! Coffees, creamers, snacks, oil, little peanut butter, etc. So lovely. The house was perfect for us, just me and my husband and two dogs. We spent the week working from home and visiting with family. The kitchen was great, bedroom huge and comfortable and Dexter is adorable. Great time all around!

Our home is nestled in the peaceful countryside of Dexter, Michigan, on a historic farmstead dating back to the 1870s. We share this beautiful space with our dogs, playful goats, miniature horses, and chickens. Surrounded by nature and the charm of rural life, it’s a place where history meets the tranquility of farm living.
