Dieses Märchenbuch 1926 English Cottage befindet sich in der historischen Whitman College Nachbarschaft und ist 4 Minuten zu Fuß durch die schönen Whitman Campus Gelände in die Innenstadt. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über Parkettböden, eine Gourmet-Küche, ein gemütliches und gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Gaskamin und 50-Zoll-TV und 2 Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem verstellbaren Kingsize-Bett und eines mit einem großen Bett. Das kürzlich renovierte Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine Quarz-Arbeitsplatte und Travertin-Fliesen. Die Gesamtfläche des Hauptgeschosses beträgt ca. 1500 m² / ft.

Das gesamte Obergeschoss ist eine Master-Suite mit einem Kingsize-Bett, Wohnzimmer mit 55-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und ein geräumiges Badezimmer mit Klauenfuß Badewanne / Dusche. Gesamtquadratfuß der Master-Suite beträgt ca. 500 m² / ft.

Der Keller verfügt über einen Fitnessraum mit einem Rudergerät, Treppensteiger, Hanteln und einem Flachbild-TV. Das Badezimmer verfügt über eine Keramikfliesen-Dusche mit Glasverkleidung. Das Keller (4.) Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Doppel-Rollbett und ein großes Ausstiegsfenster für flexible Schlafgelegenheiten. Die Waschküche hat alles, was man benötigt, einschließlich Wäsche.

Der einzigartige Hinterhof war auf der Teich- und Garten-Tour 2004 und 2009 und verfügt über einen Kupferschüssel-Springbrunnen, einen entspannenden Wasserfall und ein Spielset für Kinder. Es gibt Platz für 8 Personen auf der Terrasse und eine ausgedehnte Ziegel Terrasse, um ein Glas Wein rund um die Gasfeuerstelle zu genießen. Stadt Walla Walla Lizenznummer: BUS-17-0247.

One of the best homes we have ever stayed in and would 10/10 recommend. The home was incredibly well appointed with all that you could desire. For example, the kitchen was stocked with coffee and filters (always a mystery why those are missing in other places) plus all the appliances and tools you could need. The linens and towels were wonderfully high quality. The backyard is so quaint and the whole home just gushes charm. Access at check in was very easy and directions were super clear in terms of check in and check out. Finally, the location was just perfect for our wine tasting adventures. We will most certainly be back.

Wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying at this property and we absolutely love it! It’s such a lovely house and is clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. It’s in a perfect location. We were able to walk to downtown Walla Walla where we enjoyed the tasting rooms and shops. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful cottage!!

Our stay with friends at the Storybook Cottage was absolutely lovely. The house was sparkling clean and every room is designed to be comfortable and inviting — the private garden and outdoor spaces even more so. We only made breakfast and coffee, but the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a full meal. The kitchen has a traditional coffee maker with fresh beans and a grinder, as well as a Keurig machine for a fast breakfast beverage. There were also fresh eggs in the fridge (thank you!) and gorgeous peony bouquets in the kitchen and the garden. Really an outstanding property - highly recommend. A sincere thank you to our hosts for a wonderful weekend.

Beautifully appointed , quaint, and comfortable with every amenity needed in a wonderful location.

This home is conveniently located to Whitman College and the town of Walla Walla. The hosts responded to any questions promptly. They were so thoughtful to have so many items in the house which made us feel welcomed into their home. They had many thoughtful touches for our weekend in Walla Walla to celebrate our son’s graduation from Whitman College. The fresh eggs, flowers from the garden, Walla Walla onions, graduation celebratory items, robes, pickelball rackets, games, and amazing backyard with a beautiful water features and fire pit all made for a memorable weekend. The house is stocked with everything one would need. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. I would highly recommend this home!

BEST IN WALLA WALLA

my husband and I and friends make our annual visit to Walla Walla for winetasting weekend and we always stay at the Crawford house. This is one of the historic homes that has been restored beautifully inside and out. The interior decor, and the attention to detail is the best I’ve seen. The kitchen is stocked with everything a cook could need . The cupboards are well organized and everything is labeled . Extremely organized. The bathrooms have all the amenities along with Spa Robes just like a five star hotel. The backyard is one of our favorite places to hang after golf and winetasting. The gardens, several water features, the whimsical garden decor, herb garden , and little pathways are amazing . At night with a remote control, one click and the yard lights up with mini lights and yard lights. It’s beautiful and we highly recommend We can’t wait to be back next year.

GOLF WINE FRIENDS

A group of us return to this whimsical beautiful home every year to play golf, wine taste , and enjoy evenings at the house cooking. We would not consider staying anywhere else . The owners are just amazing to work with and so accommodating . You will not want for anything as it’s stocked with everything you can imagine . You’ll open a hall cabinet to find bins labeled from scissors and clippers, to first aid, sunscreens, Covid tests etc. Kitchen cabinets containing bins labeled containing basic staples, drawers filled with candles and lighters for patio use, 2 coffee stations, etc. Upon arrival in the kitchen we were greeted by the smell of a large vase full of freshly picked lilacs and a bottle of wine . Your rooms have luxury spa robes and trays contains sleep masks, earplugs, etc. And the list goes on. The decor is lovely and our favorite gathering place is the back yard . We can’t wait for the sun to set so we can use the provided remotes and turn on all the strings of lights through the yard in the trees . Light a fire , drink wine and listen to the two water features nestled in the yard. Book your stay. You won’t be disappointed.

Great house!

We had a great stay for our group of 5. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The hosts have shown great attention to detail. The house is well stocked and has many nice touches. The backyard is very creative. We enjoyed the gardens and the various seating options. The location is very convenient. The neighborhood is very walkable and close to downtown. The beautiful Whitman College campus is about a block away. Highly recommend this house!

We had the best time staying at this house! It’s centrally located to many restaurants, activities, and wineries in Walla Walla. It was easy to either walk or drive anywhere we wanted to go. The house itself was gorgeous! It was well-stocked, everything was comfortable and clean, and the yard is so lovely. Mike and Debbie were wonderful hosts and even left us treats upon our arrival. :) We would love to stay here again!

Family Graduation Celebration

This enchanting home was exactly as presented: cozy, relaxing, welcoming. While we were here, I spent more time reading and chatting with my family that I had in weeks. My parents (both in their 80's) mentioned more than once that they had not felt so relaxed in months. The back yard is even more lovely than the photos suggest--we had a chance to take some graduation photos before the rain truly started. Even with the rain, looking out on the yard was theraputic. We were in town for our son's college graduation, a goal he completed after three very difficult years. Mike and Debbie greeted our family with graduation balloons, cupcakes and napkins in school colors, setting the tone for a truly celebratory weekend. The perfect property for our family event!

What a wonderful place!

A magical place with a beautiful garden and patio out back. The house was decorated with such style, warm, cozy and charming. So many thoughtful and creative touches to make you feel comfortable and cater to your every need. Comfy beds, luxurious towels, coffee station, fresh baked cookies and cheese biscuits. Birthday Wine Tasting Trip

We stayed in Debbie and Mike's home for our girls-trip to celebrate 50th and 60th birthdays. We picked this home because of the adorable storybook cottage look and gardens, and we were not disappointed! Upon arrival, we were greeted with special birthday surprises that made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped foot in the door. We spent most of the daytime hours out wine tasting, but loved coming 'home' to the beautiful back yard grotto to relax and enjoy some of new wines. We were all amazed at how meticulously manicured the gardens were, and glad to enjoy them but really glad we didn't have to do any of that work. We cooked one of our dinners at the house and found EVERYTHING we needed to prepare our meal. Lots of spices, cooking oil, etc. in the cabinets, and a serving dish of every size. You could cook your Thanksgiving/Xmas dinner there no problem! House was air conditioned, and was much appreciated as the temps rose during our stay. Location is central to everything, and plenty of parking on the street for extra cars. The beds were SUPER comfortable, and we really had a hard time getting up out of bed and on our way each morning. The three bathrooms were nice, especially with a group of women all trying to get ready all at once. Our group had an amazing time and would love to come back for another stay in the future!

Great experience in Walla Walla!

This is a wonderful property to stay at. The house is beautiful and the backyard is so great for hanging out and talking and relaxing. Everything is in walking distance (about 1 mile). We were there for a birthday celebration and there were brownies, balloons and birthday favors waiting for us. My favorite VRBO yet!

Unbelievable home and hosts!

We had an incredible weekend at this home in Walla Walla. Everything about the house has been done with intention and care for the experience of the guests. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. The house is beautiful, the yard and gardens stunningly maintained, and the kitchen is one of the most well-stocked rentals I've been in yet. Mike and Debbie were super responsive and helpful. The home is a short walk to Pioneer's Park and to downtown shopping, restaurants, and tasting rooms. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Family Gathering

This was such a perfect home for a family reunion during Whitman graduation weekend. Debbie and Mike were so thoughtful and started off our celebrations with balloons, noise makers and even school colored napkins. They left us cupcakes too and the first morning we got fresh baked scones and cinnamon rolls delivered to the door! They are the most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever encountered and we’ve stayed at lots of homes!!

Beautiful, historic home close to campus.

We spent 3 nights here for Whitman family weekend. The house is charming and so well taken care of. The location was perfect for campus activities as well as visits to Main Street. We spent a lot of time in the backyard which was enchanting. We loved everything about this house and hope to return a few more times before our daughter graduates.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Walla Walla, don't look any further!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was at Debbie and Mike's cottage. This was our first trip to Walla Walla. We had three couples visiting, and our every need was addressed. The place was wonderfully accommodated, down to the complimentary coffee/tea bar, fruit tray, local chocolates, and wine. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was spotless. If you forgot any personal supplies, there were several items stocked for convenience like toothbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, face wipes, etc. Perhaps one of the best features was the backyard. We enjoyed our time by the gas fire pit under the heaters at night. All the wonderful water features were so great. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies, including two dishwashers. The fresh pastries the first morning of our stay were an added treat. Overall, such a cute, quaint cottage, and we absolutely loved our stay! We hope to visit again some day!

Delightful, well-appointed home with most gracious hosts ever!

This house was both welcoming and well-stocked with all the conveniences of home, but also full of charm and character. The hosts were SO accomodating and communicative, and went above and beyond to make this a memorable stay for us in Walla Walla. Our kids greatly enjoyed the sweet yard, where they played while we grilled with friends. This stay is everything you hope for in a vacation home!!! We hope to return when our travels take us back to Washington!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!

This was such a charming house - it had everything we needed and was so well organized. The beds were extremely comfortable and the yard was incredible. We attended the tennis camp at Whitman and it was less than a 5-mintute walk to the courts. Beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Charming home that met all our expectations.

My wife, two friends, and I stayed three nights at the beginning of June. The Home is exactly as advertised. It has a wonderful outdoor entertaining area and comfortable indoor entertaining areas. The home has been equipped to meet almost every conceivable need a traveller might have. The location of the home is incredibly convenient as well. It is blocks away from Whitman College and only a 15-25 minute walk to the downtown area. All of us would definitely stay again!

This home has the original stucco exterior and a unique rounded roof design. Throughout the house are built-in features. The kitchen was enlarged by 300 square feet in 2001, as the original was small, and the addition won an architectural award from the 2020 Walla Walla Organization that same year.
