My experience staying with Eric, Jana, and their sweet golden retriever Ember was absolutely wonderful. They were the most thoughtful and accommodating hosts — warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Not only was the space beautiful and comfortable, but I genuinely feel like I left with new friends. Eric and Jana went above and beyond in every way, and Ember brought so much joy and comfort to my stay.I couldn’t recommend their place enough. I just completed an almost 6-week stay at this property and would highly recommend it. The check-in process was very easy and the apartment was clean, and just as shown in the pictures. Jana & Eric were great hosts! Always available to answer questions and give recommendations in the area, yet they gave complete privacy. The neighborhood was safe and beautiful. Very green & hilly. Great for nature walks. Close to shopping, restaurants and parks. I would absolutely stay again when visiting the area.

Eric & Jana are fabulous hosts. Their apartment is extremely comfortable and it has all the amenities you need. The location is very convenient to major roadways. The landscape around their home is so lovely. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a quiet, comfy place to stay in and around Smithtown. I would definitely stay here again!!

A Relaxing retreat

Our hosts Eric & Jana always make us feel at home. This is our third year we have visited Long Island and stayed here. The view of the backyard with the squirrels, birds and rabbits scampering around amidst the tall beautiful trees is very relaxing and peaceful. A very comfortable and homey atmosphere. A hidden jewel.

Cozy, comfortable apartment in a convenient location

Our stay here was wonderful! The apartment itself is clean, spacious and well appointed. Our hosts, Eric and Jana, were gracious and very attentive. Great location and nice accommodations

The location of the property is great with dedicated off street parking in a very safe neighborhood. The property has its own private entrance with plenty of space for a single person or couple. The landlords are on site and can respond to any issues or questions. I didn’t have any problems but they did shovel snow off the path for me. They were nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I needed accommodations in the area.

Comfortable and cozy on Long Island!

Jana and Eric were the perfect hosts. They greeted us warmly upon our arrival and showed us around this cozy apartment. The location of this unit was perfect for our needs. The area is wooded and very quiet, but also convenient to shopping, restaurants and major roadways. The unit is very well appointed with a full kitchen, large TV, and very comfortable queen size bed. We look forward to staying here again in the very near future.

Long Island Autumn Retreat

This was our third year staying with Jana and Eric. Being from Arizona we don’t feel the fall weather in October. The suite is beautiful and functional for our month long stay. Jana and Eric always go above and beyond on fall decorating. Very nice touch and much appreciated. The neighborhood is safe and the property is centered on Long Island in Smithtown. The back yard is beautifully maintained with a nice private patio. What we appreciate most is Jana and Eric’s attention to detail and asking how our stay is going. Highly recommend this Long Island property.

Nice place but too close to the owner’s Living space

The apartment was nice but their was a problem with the air conditioning so it felt to warm inside a lot of the time. Also the apartment is directly under the owner’s main living space so you could hear their footsteps. The parking space was very far away which I found to be inconvenient. The owners were nice but seem a little nervous having guests on the property.

Hi Louis, We are sorry that you were disappointed with your accommodations. Outside the concerns on AC unit (which we have not received before or after your stay), you never mentioned any of these other inconveniences on the many times we reached out to you to check in and see how you were doing. In each reply, the only concern you reported was the temperature. My wife and I both work full time, so the footsteps would have been in the early morning, and evening. You never said anything to us about this. If the parking space was too far (its approximate 150 feet from the door to the space), we could have allowed you parking access on our ample driveway (approximately 75 feet door to driveway) as we did when you unloaded and loaded your vehicle. I'll assume there was a specific need for a shorter walk for you. In closing, thank you for your review and thank you for staying with us. Our backyard is a haven for birdwatching, with species like Cardinals, Robins, Finch, Bob White, Barn Owls, Great Horned Owls, Red-Headed Woodpeckers, and occasional sightings of Ospreys and Red-Tail Hawks. We also enjoy visits from a variety of furry creatures, including a resident rabbit family, foxes, raccoons, opossums, and white-tailed deer.

The local train station is just 10 minutes away, and MacArthur Airport is only 15 minutes by car. The neighborhood is peaceful, safe, and quiet, yet we're just a short distance from bustling towns offering great shopping, dining, and nightlife.
