Historic house convenient for Old Town Arvada

We stayed as a group of eight - parents with three adult children and their partners. The house is charming and has a good amount of both indoor and outdoor space. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, watching the world go by.The dining table was small and didn’t seat all eight of us, but I think the ping pong table (which we did make use of!) took up what would have been the dining space.Old Town Arvada was a pleasant surprise, a nice place to wander around with a real community feel. It had more shops, restaurants and bars than expected and was within easy walking distance of the house.On street parking outside the house was free and easy to find.We didn’t use the hot tub so I can’t comment on it.

Family fun time get lost wekend

House location was excellent. Short walk from train. Lots of dining options within walking distance.House plumbing and heating needs work.4PM check in was late and 10AM check out was early.

An OK stay

The location was great! It was within walking distance of everything in Old Towne Arvada. We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the house especially since there was a 250 cleaning fee to book the house. It definitely was not vacuumed before we arrived. There was trash and dirt under the beds. A number of dishes had to be washed before we could use them and there were dirty sheets shoved in cabinets. Additionally, the hot tub is not the same hot tub that is portrayed in the photos online and we felt that calling it a hot tub was misleading because it is inflatable with no seats or jets like a traditional hot tub. On top of that it was only filled with about 1.5 feet of water. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we chose this house so not being able to use it was a big disappointment. We found it difficult to cook meals here because of the lack of basic cooking necessities. The house also sleeps 8, but the dining table only seats 4 so that is a challenge as well. If this house had been properly cleaned, wasn’t advertised as having a hot tub and a bit more care had been put into having the needed kitchen supplies, extra towels etc., then this place could be great because the location is prime.
