Summary:
Walk everywhere from our perfectly positioned apartment & explore the best of the city! Start your day at a nearby café, then stroll to Federal Hill’s famous Italian restaurants or discover close by hidden foodie gems & breweries. In less than 10 minutes, walk to Downtown for sightseeing and shopping. After a day out, relax in our cozy apartment with a private deck oasis. With easy access to The Amp, Convention Center, hospitals, colleges, and I-95/I-195, you’ll have everything within reach!
The Space:
We wish to continue to host guests, so unfortunately, this space is NOT suitable for Parties or Events.
With that being said, this apartment is in a perfect location with the best accommodations for your trip to Providence...
THE BUILDING
This apartment is on the 1st floor and there are 4 other apartments in the building. The space is equipped for up to 4 guests, and designed with a central, open concept kitchen, dining and living area! Despite the thorough renovations of all our apartments, the building itself remains an older structure and is considered unsuitable for young children. However, if your children are 6 years or older and you understand these considerations, we would be happy to accommodate your stay.
DINING ESSENTIALS
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics (plates, bowls, mugs, etc.) and some extras for your stay. You can easily cook in the apartment or dine out at the many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. There are 4 bar seats off the island.
COZY BEDROOM VIBES
The bedroom has a dedicated work space with lots of windows for natural light and a large closet with custom 8-foot doors. Off the hallway is a bathroom, with shower/tub and many of the basic essentials provided.
LIVING ROOM: The living area has a comfy sofa that converts into a queen size bed and has a Smart TV w/ Amazon Prime. The living room has sliding doors which leads to a private deck where you can sit outside to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage. The outside space is like your own private oasis, which is a rare find in the City!
BACKYARD:
Welcome to your Urban Oasis in Providence. While the backyard is shared among eight apartments, it still feels like your own private retreat thanks to thoughtful design and cozy nooks. Relax in comfort with lounge chairs arranged around a coffee table—perfect for a game of Jenga. Fire up the pizza oven, keep your drinks chilled in the mini fridge, and take advantage of the gas grill. Each apartment is stocked with grilling tools you can bring outside, and there are prep counters for easy outdoor cooking. String lights overhead create a warm, inviting glow for evenings. Dine al fresco (in the open air) at the outdoor table or get active with the professional-grade ping pong table and regulation cornhole setup on the lawn. Just steps from your door, this backyard is your go-to spot for relaxing, crafting a meal, and enjoying the outdoors.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment and private deck. For longer stays, we also have a coin-op washer and dryer in the basement, or there is a Laundromat a 1 minute walk away.
The Neighborhood:
The best part of this section of the city are the places that are off the beaten path. There are such great places like, The Avery, Bucktown, Julian's, NitroBar, Seven Star Bakery & more. But just a short walk away, you can be on Atwell's Ave where the best Italian Restaurants in the city are located... And just over the bridge, is Downtown Providence where you have even more great restaurants, bars and lounges!
Also just over the bridge is the Convention Center and the AMP!
Essentially you can walk to everything from the apartment - car not needed in this location!
We are located 1 block away from the Providence Public Safety Building, which can get loud if they go by for an emergency, but at the same time make you feel safe knowing they are close by.
Getting Around:
If you like walking, this is the place to just park your car and explore the city! You can walk to much of the city, but Uber and Lyft are also available, and many scooter operators are also available in the city.
We have free parking available for 1 car in a small parking lot diagonally across the street from the apartment.
Other Things to Note:
We will provide instructions for 1 free parking spot in the lot diagonally across the street. If you park in any other lot or driveway around the building, your car will be towed.
The apartment building is located within walking distance to everything however it is on a busy road.
Although this is a 1st floor apartment, there are still 4 steps to get into the building.
Interaction with Guests:
The building includes a shared stairwell and a downstairs laundry area accessible to all guests, but the apartments and deck areas are exclusively for your private use. We want you to feel completely comfortable when booking with us, so if you have any questions—before, during, or after your stay—don’t hesitate to reach out through the messaging app for a quick response.
