Where do I begin--- 1) upon checking in Friday a maintenance guy was parked in the driveway so I had to contact the owner where to park since the property is on a very narrow road and there is no available street parking, 2) maintenance guy was on the property for almost 2 hours to get heat and hot water working, 3) I was instructed to turn up the heat to heat up the water (that didn't work, couldn't take comfortable warm showers at bedtime after a long travel day), 3) left early in the morning to attend an event for several hours and upon returning to the property late-afternoon a maintenance crew was on the property powerwashing with a loud generator next to the house (not relaxing after a long day) AND still no hot water! 4) the kitchen sink backed up because the garbage disposal wasn't emptied prior to our stay, 5) the bathroom door is bi-fold style so privacy is somewhat limited. We ended up leaving 8am Sunday. Although the property owner (Lisa) was very pleasant in person and on the phone and tried to make up for the inconveniences, it was a very disappointing stay, definitely not worth the amount we paid. If you decide to book this property, ask A LOT of questions before confirming your plans... make sure all maintenance is done and everything works on the property WAY BEFORE arriving. I probably would've appreciated a week's notice that the property was not ready for renting and receive a FULL refund instead of dealing with so much in a 36-hour timeframe.
