Lakeside Beach Cottage "Salzige Ufer"

Das Hotel liegt in der Gemeinde Lakeside Beach am schönen Nordufer von PEI. Der perfekte Ort für einen Urlaub mit der Familie oder mit Freunden. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet mit drei Schlafzimmern mit einem Queensize- und einem Doppelbett und das dritte hat zwei Einzelbetten. Es gibt eine große Außenterrasse mit einem Gasgrill und einer Feuerstelle. Es ist nur vier Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Lakeside ist auf der Insel als einer der schönsten Privatstrände bekannt. Es ist günstig neben dem Crowbush Cove Golfplatz gelegen und zwei Minuten die Straße hinunter kann man reiten. Die nächstgelegene Stadt ist Morell und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie für Ihren Aufenthalt benötigen. Mit nur 25 Minuten Fahrt von Charlottetown und den Provincial Parks ist Salty Shores ein perfektes Reiseziel.

Perfect cozy stay near the beach!

We had a lovely time at salty shores! The proximity to a wonderful, not too crowded beach was great. The cottage had everything we needed (the AC was very much appreciated with the high temperatures). The hosts were also very helpful. We would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Salty Shores! Location was perfect and the cottage was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking or a day at the beach. The outdoor space was well used by our family.

A beautiful cozy property in a fantastic location. The cottage is well appointed and the beds are comfortable. We all enjoyed walking to the fabulous beach and sitting out in the screened gazebo. Morell was convenient for groceries and St Peter’s had great seafood to bring home and make. Loved the proximity to Charlottetown and even ventured to the Red Shores Race track for a different adventure! We would definitely return!

Family Vacation

We had a great stay (3rd time) at Salty Shores cottage. The cottage is comfortable and clean and perfect for a beach getaway. Beach is most beautiful on the island. Close to Charlottetown, Crowbush golf is next door, less than an hour from North Rustico. Can't wait to book our next vacation to PEI at Salty Shores!

Short walk to beautiful beach

My husband and I stayed at this cottage the last week of August, 2023. It was very clean and well supplied with everything you could possibly need. The outside deck was perfect where we could enjoy the sunshine ( and peace and quiet) sheltered from the breeze. We had a wonderful stay, thank you for sharing your lovely property with us!

Salty Shores is a Dream!

Everything was as advertised at this great little cottage. Very clean, all the amenities you could ask for, and only a five minute walk to the beach, which is exactly what we wanted. Really loved the layout of "Salty Shores", 3 bedrooms, comfy beds, a screened in gazebo on the porch and even an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off when you get home from Lakeside Beach, which is just at the end of the road. Patti was always quick to respond to our inquiries and that made us feel even more at home! Thank you Patti for providing us with such a lovely place to stay on our first (and not last) family trip to PEI!!

Wish we could stay longer!

Patti has been an excellent host! The cottage is cozy and well stocked. I brought along several things I didn't have to because I wasn't sure it would be provided (extra fans, beach towels etc). Every room has large fans, lots and lots of towels provided, well stocked kitchen etc. The portable air-condioner was a welcome surprise too, though we only needed it the last few days. We had perfect weather, warm days and cool nights for most of our 3 week stay. We definitely hope to return in the future.

Great rustic cottage in wonderful location. But without an air conditioner and despite multiple fans -was too hot to be inside from approximately noon until supper time. Mosquitoes were bad in Lakeside this year-and so a screened in patio section would be great - especially during parts of the day too hot to be inside. Otherwise- a small sectional couch would really improve living room seating.

Thank for your review. Every year we have been making improvements on our cottage. It is always helpful to get feed back on how to make our cottage the most enjoyable place to stay. Unfortunately due to a late wet spring the mosquito’s have been out in abundance this year. I am happy that you had warm enough weather to enjoy the beach and hopefully the ocean winds were strong enough to blow some of those mosquitos away. 🙂�

Great family friendly cottage

We had a great stay. The cottage was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of pantry essentials/condiments. With 2 littles (3 and 5yrs old), we really enjoyed the abundance of toys, books, movies, games, camp chairs, wagon, and beach toys. The sandy beach was a short 0.5km walk and was often just for us.

Super cute cottage next to the best beach on the island!

This was our second stay and as we expected it was everything we loved about it the first time once again. Cottage is clean and cozy with everything you might need. Open deck, screened in dining table and fire pit are great for outdoors. The beach down the lane is amazing, and not busy at all. Charlottetown is only 20 mins so close to shopping and dining. Cottage is located next door to Crow Bush Golf. Overall this little cottage is a perfect place to get away and play in the sand!! Thanks Patti

Wonderful cottage a short walk to the beach. Well equipped and very cozy!

The cottage was even better than pictured! It had lots of amenities and especially great for kids - books, toys and even a wagon to haul them to the beach! It was clean and comfy. Even though it was just off the road to the beach, it was very private. Lakeside is one of the best beaches - it's long and sandy with dunes, like most north shore beaches, but never that crowded, a locals favourite. We would highly recommend and would love to come back!
