Our stay at Blue Haven was wonderful. It’s a beautiful home with plenty of room for our family. The new infinity pool is definitely a plus! Lauren and Shawn were responsive, friendly and have thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Beautiful house full of all the amenities you need

Lauren’s property was a great choice and she was a great host. It is in a peaceful location with beautiful water views. The place is very well stocked with everything from blenders, plates, coffee maker to snorkeling gear and beach chairs. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. It is a nice place to relax after a long day enjoying the beach. It even has an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before you come in. Would gladly rent again.

Heavenly beach house and views!

Loved sipping coffee from the deck. Water views from every window. Lauren, the owner thought of everything to make your stay comfy and was very responsive. Loved walking down to water and watch waves crash, not to mention going to sleep to the waves. A lovely, we would definitely recommend and return.

Blue Haven was truly magical! You can tell a ton of thought, planning, and love went into the design of this rental. From day one, the hosts were communicative - offering tips for our trip, confirming details of the home, and reassuring us about our reservation. Every detail has been considered. Beach towels? Covered. Snorkels? Covered. A cooler? Covered. Huge bag for beach stuff? Covered. If you think you might need a unique kitchen tool, it’s probably even in the cabinet. The additional one-bedroom home is also an amazing feature. We traveled with a single friend who appreciated having their own private space. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We found Rainbow Beach to be an excellent location: close enough to the N Eleuthera airport for travel, north to boat excursions and ferries to other islands, and south to some fun fishing charters. You will not regret your choice with this rental!

Great House on the water!

You'll enjoy staying here. It's fairly centrally located on the island so we never felt too like we had to drive too far (we like to explore). The beach location is great, each night we fell asleep to the waves rolling onto shore and when looking out the bedroom windows with the stars you feel like you're on your own island while at the same time being in somewhat of a neighborhood so you don't feel like you're disconnected from everything if you would need something. The house seemed larger to us than what the pictures made it seem. It had all the things you'd need to cook big meals for a full house, and for everyone to have a beach towel, and all the blankets you'd need if there was a chill in the air but you'd want to keep the windows open. If you're new to the island the hosts leave a very comprehensive guide book to get you started and they communicated very well with us (I was also told there was a new app called "streetsmart242" to help guide people, but we didn't use it so I'm not sure how much stuff there is with Eluethera). Our Family had a great time here and when we go back to Eluethera we will check this house first to see if it's available before looking elsewhere. I think you will enjoy it too.

Unlike other Caribbean destinations they had visited, Eleuthera felt like a hidden gem-intimate, untouched, and brimming with charm.

While Exuma dazzled with its famous swimming pigs and the Cayman Islands offered luxury, Eleuthera provided a refreshing sense of authenticity. They adored the locals, who shared stories of the island’s history and culture. Whether indulging in fine dining at charming restaurants or savoring local fare at beachside shacks, each meal felt like a celebration of the island’s flavors. It was in the simple moments—sipping fresh coconut water, exploring the rugged cliffs, and meandering through the lush landscape—that their connection to Eleuthera deepened.
What truly set Eleuthera apart was its stunning diversity of beaches. From the vibrant blues of the Caribbean side to the dramatic waves of the Atlantic, each stretch of coastline felt like a new discovery. They cherished the tranquility of secluded spots like their favorite hidden beach, where they could relax without the crowds. This intimacy fostered a sense of belonging and a feeling of home.

Lauren and Shawn also loved the island’s slower pace of life. Unlike the hustle of Barbados or the tourist throngs in Jamaica, Eleuthera encouraged them to slow down and appreciate each moment. They spent leisurely afternoons exploring quaint towns, dining on local cuisine, and engaging with the vibrant community.

For them, Eleuthera was more than just a destination; it was a sanctuary. With every visit, they left a piece of their hearts on the island, knowing they had found a place where they could truly unwind, reconnect, and fall in love all over again. It was the magic of Eleuthera that kept drawing them back, making it their favorite Caribbean escape.

The stunning views from our home were an added bonus. We could see the magnificent expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, where vibrant blues met the horizon, and the rhythmic sound of the waves provided a soothing soundtrack to our lives. The constant, gentle breezes that swept through the area made every day feel refreshing, creating a natural paradise that we had always dreamed of.

Living in Rainbow Bay also placed us within close proximity to the breathtaking beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island. The sandy shores of the Caribbean offered calm waters for swimming and snorkeling, while the rugged beauty of the Atlantic side beckoned with its dramatic waves. We loved the versatility; one day we could bask in the sun on the tranquil Caribbean beaches, and the next, we could enjoy the invigorating surf of the Atlantic.

Governors Harbour, just a short drive away, became our go-to spot for local dining, shopping, and community events. We loved the vibrant culture and the sense of belonging that came from living in a close-knit island community.

Ultimately, it was the combination of breathtaking views, beach access, and the calming sound of the ocean that led us to choose Rainbow Bay. We knew we had found a home that not only offered us a serene escape but also a gateway to experience the rich beauty of Eleuthera and its surrounding treasures.
