Great place in a very convenient location

The entire experience felt more like a hotel than someone's apartment. All amenities were provided, the place was spotless, and the appliances were all up to date. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the Mission District.

Great Location and Rooftop Patio

I rented this gem of a place for my thirtieth birthday and it definitely fit the bill. Especially loved the rooftop patio with cute plants and amazing views. The location is perfect, great bars and restaurants within a short walk. Parking is an additional cost to factor in, but that's a given in SF. I would stay here again!

Good Contemporary apartment in Mission Area

A very spacious and contemporary apartment in excellent condition. Well equipped but a bit characterless for San Francisco, and no views. A good choice if you don't plan to spend much time in it.

Mission district fun

The location could not have been better. A short "flat" walk to the F streetcar into town or Fisherman's Wharf. Easy access to Castro. A vibrant nightlife on Valencia, don't miss the rooftop bar at El Techo at 21st and Mission, it offers a fantastic view. The home was secure, beautifully decorated, modern and comfortable. Being VRBO owners as well it was as nice as we try to provide at our rental. Don't miss this one. Thanks John.

Family Christmas

We had a wonderful time in SF for Christmas and the accommodations worked out perfectly. The unit appeared as advertised and John responded promptly to inquiries. The unit was clean and comfortable and felt safe. I slept like a baby and noise was not an issue. It was fun to have a gigantic TV on which to watch classic Christmas movies together. The only thing we missed were wine glasses. Located close to our new favorite coffee place, Four Barrel, within walking distance of Whole Foods, and having a small market just outside our door enhanced our experience. We would choose this location again.

Inside as described

John was amazingly easy to work with and exceptionally attentive before and during our stay. For example, responses were almost immediate and wash clothes were delivered quickly. We were in unit 4 which looks similar to the pictures of unit 2. The building is newly remodeled with secure entry through two locked doors on street level. The kitchen was well-stocked with the unexpected ... coffee, condiments, paper towels, etc. Bathrooms were similiarly well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and necessities. We enjoyed our stay. A few things to consider: We were two couples while the trundle bed in the twin room does not elevate. The ground floor restaurant below the master has an outdoor patio which can be lively until about 10 pm. There are great restaurants and bars starting two blocks in either direction while the area in between by The 101 not surprisingly houses some of San Francisco’s homeless. We found a parking space outside on the street for all six days. Enjoy your stay!

This is a great place. The location was perfect for our visit. John is the easiest person to work with. Supportive and available. All was as described. Some things we wished we had in the supplies - wine glasses, a blender, scissors, wash cloths (we bought some and left them there intentionally), we couldn't figure out the washer/dryer so used the laundromat one block away. We will plan on renting again.

Perfect place for our weekend adventures

This updated apartment worked perfectly for our family weekend in the city. It’s a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores, and transportation. Loved the roof garden and the food from the Burmese restaurant across the street was fabulous! Parking can be difficult but we managed to find street parking for one vehicle each night and there is a nearby lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent rental!!!

Came to SF for a conference with my husband and sister in law. Rental was conveniently located close to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Very clean, well stocked with all the amenities, and secure. John, the owner, answered our emails promptly and everything in the suite was just as described in the ad. Highly recommend this rental suite.

Actual property very nice. 20-25 minute ride to Wharf. Convenient mart right next door, very handy.

The actual property was very nice, impressive. Loved the two bathrooms. Apartment was clean and equipped with necessities except no wash- cloths or dish towels. Loved the key pad easy access. Very nice Whole Foods just a few blocks away. While there was access to public transportation, it took 20-25 minutes to get to the Wharf which is where we wanted to be most of the time.That was very aggravating. I feel like we wasted a tremendous amount of time just getting around.

Thank you for your comment on our building. We will make sure that our cleaners will provide the wash clothes/ dish towels are provided. The F Street car (vintage street car) will go through the San Francisco downtown area including the Powell street (the famous San Francisco Cable Car), the Union Square, Moscone Center, Ferry Building and ends at Fisherman Wharf. If time is important, I would recommend to go by Uber. Don't forget on Valencia Street, there are many local restaurants and stores that you can visit just by walking especially between 15th and 24th street.

Beautiful Place

John's place was perfect for our stay in San Francisco during the Outside Lands festival. The place was very clean and was furnished beautifully! The location was the best part of our stay, as it is close to all the delicious eats that The Mission has to offer. It is also walking distance to the Castro, where I was able to pick up some delicious bread and pastries from Thorough Bread. We loved this place so much that we opted to stay an additional night, which John made very easy to do to. He was very responsive during our stay. I especially loved the patio on the roof! I wish we had more time to enjoy it, as we were at the festival for most of the day. The beds were comfortable and having a washer/dryer was also a plus. All around a wonderful experience and I would recommend my friends and family to stay here if they are ever in SF.

Such a great place! It is an awesome deal for such a good location. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, close to transport for exploring, beautiful and clean apartment, very simple move in-move out requests/instructions, very true to pics and advertisement. If I HAD to come up with a criticism it would be that the futon in the living room is not comfortable at all. So the 5th person must be the one who picks the short straw, but otherwise the rest of the sleeping arrangements were great.

Beautiful property in a great location

The property was exactly as pictured. Very clean and very up to date while still having a touch of that old San Francisco feel. It is in an amazing location walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bars. Walking distance to other desirable neighborhoods as well. However, don't stay here if you are trying to enjoy your time at the apartment. We received several noise complaints which I thought was pretty absurd. There was never more than 7 people in the apartment. Not to mention it was pride weekend. If you don't allow for a little noise then I don't think it should be rented out for a big weekend like pride. The owner was very easy and available to communicate with. My guess is the neighbors have an issue with people renting in the building. Anyways, we made it work !

Fantastic

This condo was so nice my family stayed here for 6 nights. The "F" car takes you right down to the Warf in no time. The place was very clean and everything looked brand new. The owner was very quick to answer any questions before we arrived. July 27, 2017

Great Apartment!

My husband and our two boys really enjoyed our stay at the apartment on Valencia. Valencia has great restaurants and easy access to BART. The apartment felt like it was brand new and beautifully decorated. The roof top patio was beautiful. John was very helpful and got us whatever we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Would stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for our Girls Weekend. Plenty of space, with beautiful and comfortable accommodations as pictured. Lots of public transportation options within walking distance, though the four of us tended to use Uber/Lyft. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and we especially loved walking down to Tartine Bakery. Fred's convenience store right next to the building came in handy. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice comfortable place to stay while in San Francisco

Newly built or renovated. Almost everything was new. Location was good for us since we had a car so cannot comment on transportation. Owner manager was very responsive. However a few smaller things need to be reviewed and should be taken care of. Iron stand, garbage bags, liquid detergents, a basket for laundry and few trash bins .
