Great house in a great location. We could easily walk to the grocery store and many restaurants. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and small appliances. The host was a great communicator. We would definitely book the house again.

Great hosts, house and location. We were two couples. Everything was perfect for us. Hosts were great knowledge. For a reasonable addition fee they picked us up and took us to Belize City. Would highly recommend staying here. The restaurant / bar on the hill is fantastic!

Had a great stay here. The home is very spacious and provides everything you could need while staying. The bedrooms are big, great AC and comfy beds. The owner Mark was super friendly and quick to answer any questions I had during my week stay.

Great house. Each room has ac but no ac in main house, but lots of fans and good breeze through kitchen windows. Kitchen labeled well to know where things are. You can park in front of the house but is at an angle, or inside gated driveway. No back deck or chairs out front for the porch. We stood on the front porch watching a thunderstorm and lightning with some awesome rainfall. Beds are a little on the firm side, but not hard. The host has some notebooks with great local info, a cell phone for the house for local calls. There are a few games like Uno and Jenga. Good location, close to a store, not really great for walking but good for driving.

Wonderful stay

Casa Carimi is a gem in San Ignacio! The house is incredibly clean and well-stocked, and Helen’s supermarket is close for anything else you might need. Mark was very responsive with communication and check-in was a breeze. We highly recommend Casa Carimi when in San Ignacio!!

Casa Carimi is fantastic

Our stay there was more than we expected and then some.Kitchen was well equipped w all amenities including blenders, coffee makers, pots , pans, toaster. 2 - 5 gallon containers of purified water that fed directly to the refrigerator more than ample for our needs

I really hate to give Casa Carmini such a low rating as the home itself was nicely appointed, spacious, well stocked and comfortable. However, the 24 hours a day barking dogs in the surrounding yards made it literally impossible to sleep at night or relax during the day. It felt tortuous all three nights of our stay. The host was apologetic but this was totally beyond his control. The surrounding homes appeared to be occupied by permanent residents so it seems unlikely this situation would ever be different and prospective travellers deserve to know.

Excellent!

This house was perfect for our family, we had five children with us, everyone was happy and comfortable. Neighbors are great, friendly people, we felt at home here. Mark was so good to help us with anything we needed. Loved it!

I cannot say enough good things about this lovely house. It was immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were super comfortable. The fans and AC worked perfectly. It was within walking distance to a grocery store and downtown if you are relatively fit. There was a pool you could pay to use across the street, with a great restaurant. On our evening walks, the neighborhood felt safe and the locals were very friendly. The host was the best part! Mark responded to all of our questions almost instantly. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will not be disappointed.
