Perfectly located for exploring wineries in Palisade, hitting local trails, catching a game at Suplizio Field, or embarking on day trips to Grand Mesa, Moab, Ouray, or the Colorado National Monument, our open floor plan cottage offers historic charm with modern comforts. Enjoy allergy-friendly accommodations in a pet-free, smoke-free, and scent-free environment, complete with a private courtyard for relaxation. Your home away from home awaits. Book your stay today and make lasting memories!
Enjoy the enclosed front porch, private back patio, off-street parking and carriage house for bikes or sporting equipment. All new contemporary yet comfortable decor and furnishings that complement the charm of the original features like the hardwood floors and built-in-place cabinets! Washer and dryer, outdoor grill and cooking station with comfortable private back patio that is shaded in the afternoons and has solar lighting for enjoying our comfortable Colorado evenings. Bedrooms feature ceiling fans, dresser, full size closet and Queen beds. The comfortable living area has a Queen size sleeper sofa, 55" smart television with Roku. There is a convenient desk area with internet access for those who need to work while they play. The bathroom has everything you might need including a hairdryer and make up mirror. In the renovation of the home, we opened the kitchen to the living area and provided a cool table space convenient for eating, working and visiting. We have a highchair, Pack & Play and baby seat / swing for those with small children. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless farm sink, stove/oven, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, k-cup coffee maker, toaster, mixer, all cookware and dinnerware. You should only need to get a few groceries and personal items!
Check-in details will be provided via email and text message. Seven days prior to your check-in date, you will receive an email with the necessary information. Additionally, two hours before your check-in, a text message will be sent, containing the property address and the smart lock door code.

Wonderful Place

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the area around there. I will make this my go to stay when ever I am in Grand Junction as it is super close to everything. The house was clean and cozy and had all the comforts of home.

We went up to Grand Junction to visit my son who’s at CMU. Property was well-kept and clean. Everything we could’ve wanted was there all we had to do is buy our groceries.

Perfect little house!

This was probably the best rental we have ever had throughout our travels. The house was perfectly clean, stocked better than any other, comfortable, warm and had a great water heater. Our family enjoyed our stay at this home as we were in town for a family wedding. There is a nice park just down the road which was a great place for our kids to play. We also appreciated the high chair, pack n play, and other baby items available at this property. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in Grand Junction.

I almost hate to post this review -- because I'm concerned everyone will want to stay at this terrific property and then I won't be able to book it again. This property is clean, well-maintained, and fully-equipped with everything you need. It is well-located in a nice neighborhood with nice neighbors. Communications with the owner are fast and clear. Cozy house with central location

This was a lovely place to stay that was a nice fit for our family of 4. The house is smaller so the bedrooms are close together which is lovely for young children. The mattresses are medium hard, with lots of extra linens available removing the usual fights over pjllows! This is one of the best stocked kitchens I've stayed in, and the back patio adds a lovely sitting area for nice weather. It's an older house so it has some squeaks and quirks, but we had a nice stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful when we found we had left something behind.

Weekend Stay

I chose this place because it was super close to CMU and I was visiting my daughter who is a freshman there. The house was super cute and cozy, very clean, and had absolutely everything you could ask for. We were able to make meals together in a well equipped kitchen so definitely better than staying at a hotel. Host was super quick to answer texts. I arrived in Grand Junction about an hour before the official check in time and within minutes was able to get the o.k. that the house was ready and we could get in. I would definitely stay there again the next time I am in town!!

Overall enjoyed it.

Parking is challenging. For people of limited mobility having to take garbage can down to road and stripping bed was hard for me. Did the garbage but skipped the striping bed. Don't even do mine at home, too hard on my heart. I like staying in a house rather than an hotel room but all the chores get to be too much.

This house is in a great location and is lovely. The issue we had was the heat! It was 107 in the day so the house was unbelievably and unbearably hot at night. The swamp cooler only added to the humidity and stickiness of the heat. In the cooler months, I could see this as an idea choice for a stay.

Wonderful house!

My college age daughter and I spent several days on vacation in this adorable rental as we explored surrounding areas. This house is light and bright, immaculately clean, spacious and well-equipped. Since the weather was rainy during our time here we spent more time inside than we had expected and really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, large screen TV, WiFi, and screened front porch. Everything you need is provided and neatly labeled as to location. Jan was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions or requests. I have stayed at several VRBO locations in the US and this is one of the best - I would certainly stay here again! Suggestion - nearby Palisade is scenic and has wonderful produce and vineyards. We even visited an alpaca farm and mill - the baby alpacas are so cute we wanted to take one home with us!
