Tim, we are sorry you felt this way about the listing not being beach view. But nothing about our photos or descriptions are off. It falls on the guest to verify and book their space. Our listing is not beachfront, no where on the listing states it’s beach front. 2 stars is undeserving.

If your goal is to protect your brand, I’d avoid personal insults like “needy” or “worst guest.” Future guests read these responses, and a reply that comes across as measured—even with a little dry humor—usually lands much better than one that sounds angry. Before your arrival, this property passed our 53-point cleaning inspection, complete with photo documentation, and a second inspector also signed off on its condition. After your concerns were raised, we immediately sent our pest control company to inspect the unit, and they found no evidence of the issues you described. Our personal favorite message from your stay was, “Help, there are bugs and rats outside the condo!” We feel it’s only fair to point out that bugs, rodents, birds, deer, snakes, and the occasional alligator are all residents of the Alabama Gulf Coast. Unfortunately, we don’t have much authority over the local wildlife. As for the age of the property and its appliances, those are accurately represented in the listing photos, allowing guests to decide whether the home matches their preferences before booking. While we strive to provide every guest with a great experience, it’s clear we weren’t the right fit for your expectations. For that reason, we’ve also chosen not to host you again.
