My Blue Haven has been decorated with vintage and antique pieces to make the most of the original charm while providing all the amenities and modern conveniences of home. Its central location makes it fast and easy to get on interstate 90 or Rushmore Rd. It is a 5 minute walk to the Monument where you can enjoy concerts, rodeos, hockey matches, and more. Downtown shopping and dining is only a 15 minute walk through Memorial Park and M Hill with its extensive biking and hiking trails is less than a mile away. This bungalow beauty offers plenty of room with 3 bedrooms: 1 King, 1 Queen on the main level, and 2 Queens in a charming second floor oasis, just perfect for friends and family. With high-speed internet, individual temp controlled heating/cooling units throughout, WiFi, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and lots of indoor/outdoor seating, the Blue Haven has all you need to make yourself comfortable in this home away from home. My family of four found My Blue Haven cozy. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped and the place is centrally located in the city. Carmen made sure we were taken care of during our week stay and we will return in the future!

Perfect location, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

It was easy to find, very well stocked, owners were easy to talk to. I highly recommend this property.Rapid City is small, but has an airport that several carriers fly into.

Great place, close to downtown

Clean house, pretty quiet neighborhood, easy to get downtown. The house is a mix of old and new--very cute. It was a perfect basecamp for exploring Rapid City and Keystone and a great place to recharge.

Cozy home in Rapid City

This home was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. It should be noted that one of the bedrooms is upstairs which might provide a challenge to some people with mobility issues. Carmen is always quick with communication. We had a wonderful trip.

Clean and friendly! We couldn't have asked for a better place. The house came with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen, bathrooms had extra sundries if any where forgotten, games for the whole family and even a nice welcome basket. The house was spotless, wonderfully decorated with plenty of room to unwind after a long day. The host was very responsive when a question needed to be asked.\We were able to walk to the Monument for our concert. The house is located in what we felt was a safe neighborhood and never felt safe with our belonging and vehicles at night. We would defiantly stay here again if the occasion arises!

Our house was excellent! It was extremely clean and Carmen had it stock with everything we needed and more. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. She has the house very well decorated and the furniture was perfect for that house. Having a living room and a family room was perfect as it gave all of space! Spent a lot of time on the patio where there was plenty of seating for all. It was the perfect house and will stay there again when we go back. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had. Appreciated the great communication. The extra touch of have sweet treats from The Sour were much appreciated and enjoyed. I thank Carmen for a terrific week!!

I have lived in Rapid City for over 20 years. My husband and I enjoy hiking, climbing, backpacking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing and camping in the Black Hills. We love being able to share our knowledge and passion of the area with our guests!

Blue Haven was our first home lovingly restored with the intent of providing a home for our family and friends when they come to the area. We love the easy access to I-90 and Mt Rushmore Rd. The convenience to walk a couple of blocks to attend events at the Monument or go downtown was another plus in our decision.

Blue Haven is a gem of a classic limestone bungalow home with beautiful and unique exterior and an abundance of natural light through the huge picture windows on the east and south side of the home. The surrounding hedge and fence create privacy with a large yard perfect for grilling out or playing games.
