The room was clean and comfortable. Lana and Morgan were available but not intrusive. Lana had lots of great suggestions for hiking. The kitchen was minimal, but it was all we needed. The breakfasts (we had three) were truly excellent. It is a beautiful place.

Such a great place to unplug, spend time in nature and unwind! I loved walking the property with my pup, watching the sunrise from the bed, and sitting up on the hill to watch beautiful sunsets!

We had such a wonderful stay here! It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for an escape in the beautiful mountains. Breakfast every morning was delicious, the suite is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Lana was a wonderful host! We felt at home the entire time we were there, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect getaway.

This very well equipped studio-type space is well planned & comfortable. A southern orientation with lots of windows with a good bed, nice bathroom, kitchenette & cosy sitting area, it's in a lovely valley & abuts national forest perfect for hiking. Hosts Lana & Morgan made us very welcome, & let me tell you, the food was delicious.

relaxing stay!

We spent a wonderful weekend here for my boyfriend's birthday. Lana and Morgan were wonderful hosts! The food absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed visiting Carrot and Bubba (the horses). I have stayed in many different places across Colorado and this is by far one of my favorites.

Wonderful stay

Had a great time. It's a relaxing, serene place to stay for a few days. Host Lana and her daughter Morgan were wonderful and the food was so good. Try the evening meals if you dont feel like going out - especially the pizza! I would definitely go back for a weekend getaway.

Very cozy suite with everything we could want or need, and abundant windows allowed us to take in the view at all times. The breakfast menu was varied with abundant choices, and the meals were delightful and delicious. The landscape is beautiful, the location serene and also provided for Kelly's frisbee needs. :-) Lana and Morgan were fantastic hosts, highly recommended!
View from the bed...doesn't show the whole room, but I didn't want to show our messy suitcases! I was enjoying the lovely comforter, which is lightweight but warm.

Incredible get away in the mountains

Everything about Lana and Morgan’s mountain getaway was truly incredible, this home provided true soul food as well as delicious breakfasts! Every little detail from a dog bone for Banjo with breakfasts to peppermints for Bubba, it was truly a wonderful stay. Thank you both!!

So incredibly peaceful and calm (which was perfect as we were trying to get our dogs away from Fourth of July fireworks)! Setting was lovely and idyllic both indoors and outdoors. Lana and her daughter could not have been more welcoming hosts and we appreciated their delicious breakfasts and attentiveness. Highly recommend!

Great remote getaway

This was our first visit to Red Feather Lakes. We loved the location and the accommodations. Lana and Morgan were outstanding hosts! The food was amazing and the peace and tranquility was exactly what was needed. A great way to celebrate our anniversary! We plan to return!

Amazing Getaway

It was a nice, relaxing weekend to disconnect. Lana and Morgan were amazing hosts and the breakfast was delicious, every morning. Even after the snow and our car not being able to make it out, they called their neighbors to help get us out!

Awesome little get away!

Beautiful location, great breakfasts. It felt like a home away from home, had everything we needed and more. Homemade binders with lots of descriptive information on things to do in the area, directions, places to eat, dishes, snacks, washer and dryer, beautiful wood stove to keep warm at night. Lana and Morgan were more than happy to help with any questions we had and made sure we enjoyed out stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy off the grid get away!

Slow down & connect with nature

This property is located in a serene valley with beautiful views. The hosts are friendly folks who happen to be excellent cooks. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from technology & a busy life, this would be a great choice.

Quiet and peaceful

If you want to get away from it all, this is for you! It is very remote and private. I cannot agree that it is "luxurious", but it is comfortable for 2 people.

We strive to make sure everyone’s stay is 5 stars and your comments in person during your stay and as you departed, let us know it was. Giving us the chance to bring your stay to your expectations while you were here would have been appropriate and kind. We can only go by the feedback you provide us in person. A 3-star review is extremely low and impacts us greatly in a negative way if your only complaint was that you felt luxury was not a star quality of your stay, in your opinion. We even provided the extra items and services you requested before you arrived that are usually not included, at no additional charge, simply because you asked for them. I feel we went above and beyond to cater for the extras you asked for and offered you outstanding service and a gorgeous suite while you were here. I am sorry you chose to be so harsh in your overall star rating. I know however that we could have done nothing more than what we had done to make you happy,

Peaceful Comfortable Suite

After 10 days of traveling it was such a wonderful place to unwind. It was very clean, comfortably decorated and the location was stellar. Daily we saw so much wildlife going in and out. And we became very spoiled by the home made breakfast served to us each morning. I wish all of the rentals took such good care of their guests.

Rustic Luxury

The owner and her daughter are just lovely, and the breakfasts were fantastic! This property has the right balance of comfort and rustic charm. The perfect place to get away from it all. It is very secluded so you may not get cell or internet service, but to me that’s was a positive! Will definitely try to come back and stay again.

Livermore Foothills

Enjoyed meeting Lana and Morgan, their friendliness and kindness were appreciated. However, our itinerary required us to be available in FOCO to attend to other matters and resulted in us cutting our stay short to accommodate our daughter moving out of state. Short as it was we enjoyed our time there!
