Genießen Sie diese geräumige 2800 sq. Ft. Privathaus auf 19 Acres, die 1500 Fuß der Bucht vor auf der Chesapeake Bay mit Waldflächen, um Privatsphäre zu gewährleisten hat entfernt. 5 Meilen der historischen Altstadt von Rock Hall, einem malerischen Fischerdorf an der Ostküste, verfügt über mehrere Restaurants mit den lokalen Zartheit der gedämpften blauen Krabben, Rock-Fische und mehr, direkt an der Uferlinie gefangen. Rock Hall hat auch ein Supermarkt, Apotheke, Meeresfrüchte Geschäfte und eine Vielzahl von Einzelhandelsgeschäften, in zu durchsuchen. Chestertown ... "die große Stadt", ist 13 Meilen entfernt. Das Haus hat vier Schlafzimmer, 4 Bäder (3 en suite), und alles auf einer Ebene. Der offene Grundriss und große Glasschiebetüren im gesamten Angebot Ausblicke auf die Bucht von fast jedem Zimmer. Das Wohnzimmer öffnet sich auf eine Terrasse und Veranda mit Esstisch und reichlich Sitzgelegenheiten ein gescreent. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Doppel-Öfen, Herd und ist ein großartiger Ort, um in zu kochen. Das Haus und die Möbel sind zu einem hohen Standard.
Das Deck führt zu einer in Boden-Pool (20 x 10) direkt an der Haupt-Schlafzimmer. Der Poolbereich ist komplett mit gepolsterten Liegen und Sonnenliegen für 8 ausgestattet. Der Pool ist von einem Außendienst wöchentlich gepflegt.

Cozy waterfront retreat

My family and I absolutely adored our week at Andrew's property. The home was equipped with everything we could've needed and any issue we faced was taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. We found Andrew to be an extremely generous and kindly host and we felt right at home in his lovely bayside retreat. The decor and cozy furniture made us feel like we were really in a HOME and not some cheap rental set up to make a quick buck. The pool was fantastic, and there was plenty of shade so no sunburns for us! The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The A/C unit had to work hard to keep up with the absurdly hot temperatures and it was a bit noisy at times, but it wasn't enough to detract from any of the positives. Having 3 kids along, I found the toys and kiddo considerations to be extremely helpful.

Beauty on the Chesapeake

This is a spacious and extremely well equipped home right on the Chesapeake Bay with a fenced in pool and sunset views to die for. The beautiful and relatively remote location makes it an outstanding place to relax in complete privacy and enjoy a lot of natural “amenities” including bald eagles, hummingbirds and amazing dragonflies! Wonderful, peaceful spot to spend time with family.

Family time in Rock Hall

The 180 degree views of the Chesapeake Bay were magnificent. We enjoyed the sunsets every evening. The kids enjoyed the pool and the ice cream shop in Rock Hall. Andrew was great to work with both before our arrival and during our stay. He was just a text away and extremely responsive. Overall we had a wonderful vacation.

Relaxing time with our family

House set up was ideal for our family, especially with a ten month old. Property provided a stunning view of the bay. Only glitch was the pool water was a bit cold.

Relaxing pool house

The house is gorgeous, a lot of details in the decorations. They have pretty much everything you need for a perfect vacation. View is serene and peaceful. Kids loved the swimming pool. And there is a public beach just 10 mins away, not crowded at all. Overall a perfect vacation!

Isolated family getaway

My family was looking for a place where we could get away and stay fairly isolated mid-pandemic. This house was perfect. It is on a large property with nobody else nearby. The views were great, the accomodations and comforts set up by the owner were great, and communication with the owner was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Charming Getaway on the Bay

The house is on a large lot overlooking the bay. It is remote from other houses. You cannot see the neighbors. The closest residents are bald eagles and ospreys that fly constantly by the water and perch on a dead branch of a tree in front of the screened in porch, or on a dead tree about a hundred yards down the shore. You can watch the bay for hours. Sunsets and storms put on quite a show. There are binoculars, but I would recommend bringing a spotting scope if you have one. You can also follow barges and ships coming up and down the bay and into Baltimore harbor. There is also a small public beach at Ferry Park about 10 minutes away if you have children who want to play in the sand. The kitchen is remarkably well equipped. Instacart was able to deliver from the Acme in town. We also used the personal shopping app Dumpling for delivery from the Acme. The house is well set up to host two families or two parts of a family as there are two bedrooms on each end of the house with several doors between. It worked well so the grandparents were not kept up by the baby. The house was very clean, and comfortable with warm touches everywhere. It could do with a few more night lights as the house gets very dark it is so remote, and there are a lot of light switches. Andrew was readily available to answer any questions.

A great family week!

The pool was amazing as was the big screened patio! The house had 3 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes etc.. it is a beautiful property with lots of wildlife!

Myself, my husband and 10 y.o. son stayed at Zsuzsa and Andrew’s home in the summer of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. We were looking for a location on the water that was “self-contained and away from the masses”. We also wanted a house with a pool since our son loves to swim. This location ticked off all the boxes! The house was spacious and clean. The pool was well-maintained. The three season porch faces the water and provided the perfect setting for watching boats and some spectacular sunsets. The property is large and secluded. The neighbors included a family of bald eagles, deer, a bunny, fox and turkeys. Andrew was very responsive to any questions or needs we had both before and during our stay. We had an amazing week and would highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway

My family and I had the best time staying at Andrew and Zsuzsa’s beautiful home. The house is set in a very serene and quaint area, right on the water. The house is beautifully appointed and well maintained. Wonderful sunset views from the screened porch, fully stocked kitchen was great for cooking family meals. We had all the comfort that we could ask for and can’t wait to go back!

Private and relaxing getaway.

My husband and I rented this lovely home for a long weekend retreat. We felt as if we were honored guests as opposed to weekend renters. Andrew sent detailed information about the house and was there to greet us and give us a quick tour when we arrived. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos and has hardwood floors throughout. The beds and linens were good quality--something I'm very particular about--and the entire home was very clean. The welcome basket with fresh bread and fruit, wine, beer and a few other provisions, as well as the Caswell Massey toiletries were very nice touches and much appreciated. Each of the four bedrooms is large and well appointed. The weather was extremely warm (upper 90s) during out stay, so we made very good use of the wonderful, large in-ground pool. We also loved the screened-in porch and ate our breakfast out there each morning. The home is set well off the road in a wooded area with a marvelous view of the Chesapeake Bay. The nearest neighbors are at least a quarter mile away, which made for a very peaceful retreat. We were thrilled to observe numerous bald eagles flying out across the water and I was able to get a few fantastic photos of them in flight. We would not hesitate to rent this home again if we decide to return to this area for vacation.

Can't Be Beat

I will keep this review short and sweet - this property can not be beat for a place to getaway in Maryland. Located right next to the waterfront, this property is spacious, clean and accommodating while offering a fantastic view and enough space to really relax. Pool and proximity to town a major plus!!

Amazing Place

I stayed here with some close friends on a couple occasions and have always had a great time. The entire property is clean, quiet, and well-kept. The house is large and filled with history, intellect, and love. You really feel like you're walking into a home rather than a vacation rental. The back screened in porch is perfect for a breezy dinner, reading a book, looking out at the view of the bay or trying to scope out one of the bald eagles that live near by. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot afternoon and gives a fun activity for kids. The place is secluded enough that it's extremely quiet and you won't be bothered but close enough to town that you can head in for a dinner of fresh blue crabs on the dock at Waterman's or some ice cream at a really cool little shop in town. A great place to stay that I'd recommend to families or a group of couples looking to get away from the city or suburbs for a comfortable weekend in the country.

Luxury on the Eastern Shore

This is the most exquisite property! From the moment you open the front door the spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay is before you. The house envelops you in its extraordinary comfort and tastefulnees. The decor of the house is quite amazing! Everywhere you look you will find something beautiful to enjoy! The layout affords both conviviality and privacy - every bedroom having its own bath and private deck. And all of this on one level! Nothing has been left to chance - it is like staying at a 5-star hotel. Did I mention the sunsets? The pool? Whatever you're looking for you'll find at this amazing property. We can recommend it without reservation! Bravo Andrew you are a master at the art of pampering your guests. This was our second stay and you can rest assured it won't be out last!

Perfect Getaway in a Beautiful Location!

A few friends and I stayed at this lovely home in June and truly loved the experience! The property was pristine and serene and led to lots of great walks and exploration. The pool and screened in porch was a perfect way to spend the hot days, and there were even bikes for our use at the house! The views are beyond spectacular - we were completely mesmerized by every sunset and would get lost staring at the activity on the bay. The interior is spacious and comfortable with a unique charm that makes it feel like your own home and not a cookie-cutter rental property. We loved our stay and felt very comfortable spending some time in this beautiful home. We will definitely be back - and not just in the summer - with the large fireplace, I imagine this home would be a great place to spend a chilly evening reading a book by the fire. Thank you so much for having us!

Fabulous!!!

Wow! We had a perfect vacation here. The house is comfortable, spacious, charming, and wonderfully private. You can't even see the neighbors! We loved relaxing on the large screened-in porch watching the ships sail by and the gorgeous sunsets. The kids were in and out of the pool all day. They caught crabs and catfish off of the little jetty. What fun! The kitchen is a gourmet's delight with every amenity and spice that you could ever want, so cooking became a family fun time too. We explored the little fishing town of Rock Hall - great ice cream at Durdings and the crab at Waterman's on the dock was out of this world. We rented kayaks and had a fun day out on the water. And Chestertown is a beautiful little Colonial town on the Chester River with lots to do. The center square has a wonderful, charming old fountain. There's a farmer's market there on Saturday mornings where we bought local produce and freshly baked breads, and then we looked into some of the quaint little shops on the main street. All in all we had a terrific time. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your home with us. We came home from this holiday really rested and with a great feeling of well-being. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful Home with Fantastic View + Pool!

Spent the July 4th weekend at this rental and was it worth every penny. Sitting on the back porch with a beverage in hand, watching all the fireworks across the Chesapeake Bay, was the most relaxed I'd felt in years. The home is clean and quite modern, with a stainless steel stove top and fridge. Dishwasher makes life much easier when having many people over for dinner. Andrew was an amazing host and provided me with the information I needed to make it an amazing time down in Maryland. I'm looking forward to coming down again, hopefully in the very near future.

An exceptional home

This is the most relaxing vacation we have had. Your home is beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable. The grounds private and lovely. Great care has been take to make this home a gem on the Chesapeake Bay. Andrew, thank you for meeting us when we arrived and giving us the lay of the land so to speak. The Bald Eagles are fascinating to watch and your home will be our home away from home in the future. We are re-booking now. All in all the best rental we have found on VRBO. LOVELY SPOT FOR A QUIET VACATION

This is my best VRBO yet after previous 5 tries at other locations. Andrew is a thoughtful and generous host. Everything was a good as advertised or--in most cases--better. This place is an an art gallery. The furniture is amazingly tasteful and comfortable.The spacious porch overlooking the Bay is a wonderful spot for reading, relaxing, or conversing. We have already signed up for a week in 2014.
